Assistance from the great BobcatNation?
Okay, so I am not going to go into details, but the gist is that as of last night my house is currently unlivable and in need of some major restoration that is going to displace my family and I for a couple months. So, in my quest to not go completely insane living with a wife and two young daughters in a motel room for two months I am in search of a new place to call home for a short while. I've got several irons in the fire already, but I thought I would reach out to the community here and see if anyone had some great connection for me. Our insurance is good and will cover costs of displacement housing so that really isn't my concern, but finding something that will cause as little inconvenience to my family as possible, preferably in Belgrade since that is where the kids go to school but not necessary.
As I said, I am working on this from many other angles, but thought I would see if anyone out there in Bobcat land had anything that would fit the bill and help someone else also by filling a rental or something.

KMAX try Aspen Property, I know that they have some 3 bedroom condos/townhouses for rent just down the street from the middle school. They are on Mantle Drive, one block east of Jackrabbit, so pretty convenient to the grade schools too. Plus the master bed room is huge!!!!
They may let you get by with a short term lease, since it is an emergency.

Thanks kcatz, we think we have found a place in Belgrade and it will even let us bring the dog, which is going to be big for the kids and making them feel like it is home. Thanks to everyone else also that contacted me and tried to help out, I appreciate it.

Yes, we are still out of our house. Target (at least mine, I hope it is realistic) to be back into our house is beginning of July. We basically gutted our entire house of flooring, cabinetry and some drywall and are in the process of rebuilding now. I am actually on hold with the cabinetry people right now to get that order completed. If anyone wants to donate to my remodeling fund, I can give you a paypal address!

We are in the house, moved back in mid-July to a half finished house because the restoration people were so behind but based on their promises we had already given notice on the rental we had. Finally got all of the major work completed about 3 weeks ago, however still some minor finishing stuff to complete. The restoration company basically blew everything on the project and even incorrectly installed some plumbing in the house causing a second minor leak after we had moved in.
We have a great new house inside, the silver lining of the whole ordeal, however the time spent trying to get the restoration company to actually complete the work in a reasonable timeframe and with some semblance of quality made this by far the most frustrating experience in my life.

Glad to hear you're back home. I've been through some rough spots in my life, too, so I do understand.kmax wrote:We are in the house, moved back in mid-July to a half finished house because the restoration people were so behind but based on their promises we had already given notice on the rental we had.
