...with all the networks in this country, couldn't one of them have carried Memphis-Bowling Green or Wyoming-UCLA?

49% of Bobcat fans say they are either not going to watch the game or will be rooting for JMU. How pathetic is that? This really shows how narrow minded, myopic, and self centered the Bobcat world really has become. No loyalty to the State of Montana, no loyalty to the BSC. I would be embarassed by this thread if I were a Bobcat fan. These 49% would probably feel just as threatened by a Carroll victory. For the other 51% that will be tuning in and rooting for the Griz, kudos to you. You can all relish in the pride that the State of Montana will feel tonight.

The poll consists of 25 people. That's not something you need to get too fired up about.

So you're saying that most griz fans root for the cats in every game except for the Cat/Griz game??

Or maybe some of us have plans for tonight... that sometimes happens to people on Friday nights.

Scheduling my life around football games exclusively... that would also be pathetic. Although that would be highly effective birth control.

Easy there big fella. Just because I hope the griz never win another game of any kind ever again doesn't make me pathetic, narrow minded, myopic, or self centered and I not embarassed by this thread at all. Someone asked us our opinions and quite a few of us just really can't stand the griz and hope they don't win the national championship tonight. You are calling Cat fans who choose not to watch a griz game all of those names same as those of us that feel like me? There is really no corrolation between the two groups. Bozo, suckit, myself, etc. just can't stand the griz - it shouldn't be that big of a deal to you. Go back to efriz and enjoy the day/night. Ripping on us over here, especially today, is pathetic.

If I lived in Bozeman, There is no way I would be watching the NC game on TV. I would be at the fieldhouse, watching the Basketball team. Furthermore I would put big time dollars on the fact if it was the Cats in the NC game that a bigger portion of the Griz fans would be hoping on a cat loss. There is nothing some Griz fear more than a successful Cat football program

I voted for not watching, since I will be attending a Christmas party and then the BB game. Otherwise I would have been in the 51% of people who apparently aren't supposed to be embarrassed.

You can add me to that list too!! I can't stand the griz. What's pathetic, idiotic, and myopic is that you think all of us Cat fans should cheer along the same lines as you are. I love the state of Montana and almost everything about it. I just don't like anything about the griz. I see nothing narrow-minded about that at all.

GO DUKES!!!!!!

Food for thought:

Since 1976 through tomorrow, there will have been 56 National Champions crowned in football at our level (Cats & Griz) and at Carroll's level.

When the Griz & Carroll win in the next 24 hours, Montana schools will have claimed 8 of those Championships! Using my MSU math skills, I'd say a Montana school winning one of every 7 titles is fairly impressive!

Wasn't this clown just telling us all the other day how superior it was and how beneficial it would be for us to "make nice" with the other side?

Once again, true colors come out; Maroon, silver, arrogance, and HATE...

Clown huh? I must have been clowning when I stated that I watched as many bobcat games as I could and how I found them enjoyable, entertaining and fun. I believe I also commended your coach. This is the point I was trying to make. Support the programs in the State. If that makes me a clown, your comments only lend more credence to the obvious fact that you thrive on your hatred.

I do support the programs in the State. I just harbor a lot of bias that I keep it narrowed down to the only one program in the state I care about!! Once again, nice ASSumption regarding that anyone who disagrees with you is spewing hatred. You'd make a good politician......

BTW, lived in Casa Grande for 5 years as a young kid; my folks winter down there every year now...

No problem!!! I, for one, will never be subtle in describing my dislike/hatred for the griz. And, like you, I fully respect their program. I just can't stand them in any way outside of that. If someone has issues understanding that then that's their problem.

I'm actually in the northwest outskirts of Tucson so I'm only a 30 or so minute haul to Casa Grande. It's definitely a good time of the year to be in AZ.

Despite all that, I still long for the eventual opportunity to come back to Montana.

Now not only am I not narrow minded, myopic, and self centered but also very content. Last night was a sound spanking and just perfect in my opinion. That elkmcc, reading your crap coupled with the griz loss made for a perfect weekend - and it is only Saturday morning. Thanks again!

I really feel rotten; I can't believe I'm somehow happy the Fizzlies fizzled again...and to think all the personal fouls and holding didn't get called until the championship game...makes me sick to think about all the crap they get away with until it counts.

Check out the poll on Egriz if it was reversed ... think it was 65% of Griz fans said they wouldn't pull for them. What that tells me is we have a nice little Rivalry here in the State of Montana :) One of the best in the Nation hands down.
