More on Quinn

It's not often that I go off on a particular individual the way that I am about former Oklahoma Sooner offensive lineman JD Quinn but it's not often that we come across a stupid, pompous, selfish, fool like the one we find in Quinn.

This guy actually got more money than Rhett Bomar in the Big Red Sports and Imports scandal and unlike Bomar, who was mostly unliked by his teammates, Quinn has shown absolutely no remorse for the scandal and trouble he left in his wake at the University of Oklahoma.

He was actually quoted in a Tulsa newspaper as saying, "All I did was take some cash." No, JD what you did was waste an opportunity of a lifetime, to play football at OU, and then blame everyone else but the real person responsible which is yourself.

Going from Oklahoma to Montana really is like going from the penthouse to the outhouse and initially I thought that is what put Quinn in such a crappy mood towards the state of Oklahoma but then again there is the real possibility that he has always been a punk and that is why no one really missed him after he left Oklahoma's football program.

I don't like Quinn. Quinn clearly is immature. Quinn is a moron.

But if I'm a cat fan, with what you've been through the last few years, I'm keeping my mouth shut on this issue. YOu guys have GOT to be kidding me with this. If you want to bring it, just say so. I've got 4 years of smack saved up.

Also, if you think going from Okalahoma to Montana is the penthouse to the outhouse, you clearly know nothing about:

1. College football: To consider OK the penthouse is a joke. To consider UM the outhouse is just plain ignorant.

2. Geography: I've been to Oklahoma (unfotunately) a number of times. There is NOTHING attractive about that state (except the few co-eds who retained the majority of their teeth). Montana on the other hand = Heaven.

3. Anything.

Is this guy comparing the football programs between the two schools or is he comparing the two states against each other? I can see his point if he's comparing the football programs...it's still a little harsh, but I get it. If he's comparing the states to each other he couldn't be more wrong.

Oh, he's comparing the programs. But he's still wrong. Oklahoma is hardly the penthouse (perhaps they were at one time; but now? Not so much). And if you call UM's program the outhouse, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

GrizinWA... did you even READ my post? I didn't write that about UM, I only highlighted it. If you're gonna get mad at anybody, get mad at the person who wrote it. I personally don't agree with the statement either, just found it very, very amusing.

(EDIT) If I misinterpreted your angst only being toward the writer, then I apologize... it just happened to follow the cat fan paragraph...

What's your point about us treading lightly or you'll go OJ on us? How many Cat athletes that have committed infractions ARE STILL ON A BOBCAT TEAM?

Yes, we've had our share of problem-children; the difference between them & Quinn is that Quinn is about to play for your beloved Griz. Our trash gets hauled to the curb; the Griz garbage? Hauck keeps it around no matter how bad it stinks if he thinks the kid will help him win.

Now, please enlighten us on how that makes the Griz superior...

If you want to compare the quality of football played at OU vs dUMb, it is a trip from the penthouse to the sh!thouse!!! Further, booby hauk is a complete moron for accepting the loser at dUMb. Thus, when the sh!t continues to come down, dUMb having to forfeit it's 2007 schedule would be poetic justice.

Clay Bignell and Daniel Ogden. I know, I know......DUI isn't the same as underage drinking and throwing eggs at houses. And frankly, I wish we could wave goodbye to Quinn. We don't need him. No offense, but to listen to someone that supported keeping a few players that had got into legal trouble (myself included) lecture other people about cleaning house and getting rid of bad eggs is rather amusing.

This just furthers a point I have been trying to make with people for years. To most of the college football world U of Montana, MSU, and all other FCS schools are in fact the "outhouse". Sure we care about the Bobcats and the Grizzlies, but most people could care less. It's just a fact and a lot of fans in MT have a hard time accepting that.
