There aren't any non-college football stadiums that are bigger than 23k in Texas or Florida. Seeing as Wa-Griz will soon be 26k, I think it would qualify as a high school stadium there. Gotta love that internet.

However, if by your logic, the recent success at MSU translates to an "x%" increase in bandwagoners, then that must mean since um made it to the semis last year (read: had more success) that their "x%" of bandwagoners would be greater, no? How about the season before the last and the one prior to that, and.....well, hopefully you get the picture.
Since you're once to speak of providing such evidence to prove your hypotheses, then I'm scratching my head why you have neglected that variable.

I simply alluded to the fact that you won't find an answer despite your continued arguing about the subject.

If I have issues, then what does that say about you and your attempts to prove something that, in reality, can't be proven?

Is it 26K now?

Right now we can squeeze about 24k in, so it's still larger than any high school stadium in Texas or Florida.

Hmmm. Boy, ya really got me there I give up--none of the muncipal stadiums have any high school games played in them Go ahead and argue about a couple thousand if you must.

I believe the Texas 5A (or whatever the largest class is) championship is played in either Texas Stadium or Reliant Stadium. Does that mean these should be counted as high school stadiums?

I might be off on this, but I don't know if I'm "nuts". If you compare MSU's football field to most other I-AA stadiums, pound for pound they have something to brag about. It's a football only facility and it's attractive. I know some changes would really push them over the edge and make it a great venue, but as is, it's a really nice football stadium (considering I-AA/FCS standard).

NOW, all this is hindered by the fact their biggest rival has a coliseum just 200 miles down I-90. Put them in any other conference and they just might have bragging rights. I'm not just talking about crowd capacity here, I'm talking about architectural appeal and ability to view a football game.

One extreme to the other with no compromise, like our politics, and even our own philosophies. Is it blind obedience or stupidity?

Technically, in another thread I'm not being anything. JD Quinn is catching some flack for some of his lesser qualities, but unlike him, I didn't take a dime from anyone.

Fact is, whenever it comes to comparing something like this it always comes down to personal preference. There are actually people out there who would say Shea Stadium is nicer than Wrigley field, and all you can do is point to reasons why you like Wrigley better. In the end, the person who likes Shea is no more wrong or right than yourself, because it is about personal preference.

In the four years I lived in Missoula I went to four games (football) and this was mainly because I had a friend who played. Now that I am returning for grad school I see that figure increasing by maaaaaybe two. I cheer for the Grizzlies and respect what they have done over the years, but I am far more impressed with the structure of WaGriz stadium, a stadium that is only going to get better with time. I also think Bobcat Stadium will be pretty sweet when all is said and done. However, don't lump me in with another man's words or actions. I don't care if we go to the same school, hell I don't care if we are brothers, JD Quinn is JD Quinn, and Topher is Topher (and a snazzy dancer if I do say so myself). Washington Grizzly is the only portion of the program I am comfortable enough with to give my full endorsement. I don't think the stadium has gotten a dui in a while, but then again....it's a stadium.

Just out of curiousity, how many FCS stadiums have you visited outside of Missoula? If you think the statement that "Bozeman has one of the best facilities in FCS" is nuts, it's obviously not very many.

Of the 35 or so FBS facilities I've visited throughout the years from Statesboro, GA to Durham, NH to San Diego, I'd rank the current version of Bobcat Stadium in the top 5-10. Definitely below some (WaGriz, Paulson at GSU, Stambaugh at YSU) but far above more (Cowell at UNH, Northern Colorado, Sac St., ISU, Torero at USD, Western Illinois, Western Carolina) and right at or a little better than others (Furman, Citadel, UNI).

So, while it's nowhere near WaGriz, Bobcat Stadium is definitely one of the better facilities in the division.
