rumorville regarding new recruits

Post by Platinumcat » Tue Jan 18, 2005 2:33 pm

Anyone else heard about the two samoan brothers transferring from Arizona? Supposedly 6'8" and 6'4"ish (and huge). Offensive line is where they've played.

Almost all verbals and RUMORs so far are offensive players! Are we going to get some help on defense where we need it most? It sure has been quiet for some time on recruiting. Anyone hearing anything else? Even if just a rumor, it is interesting reading at this point. Isn't signing day on Feb. 1?

And he would be????? A name, size, year, etc would be helpful. Being as he will supposedly be in town tomorrow, does that mean he is here for his recruiting visit or to join in with classes a week late?

Neil Boyce from Tacoma Baptist(Tacoma, WA) will officially commit to MSU tommorrow. All I know at this time is TB is a B-11 school, he's 6'3 290lbs, he was team MVP and All-State on the DL. I'm having trouble getting info on him but will pass along if I can locate...

Does this Kid say offencive line or what!

Tacoma Baptist lineman Neil Boyce looks like a solid choice for some 1-AA schools, as the usual suspects at that level (Eastern Washington, Montana, Idaho State) appear to be at least somewhat interested in the big guy.

I think I got ot right now!

So now we have Eastern Washington scooping us? Is this the twilight zone?

That other team in the "state", signed a QB by the name of Jason Washington from Bowling Green tonight, he has two year left, he'll be on campus next week, he runs as good as he throws.
Congrat's......Who do you think will be the starter next year? This guy or Cole Bergoist? Either way it will definitely be a step down from what you've had the past two years.

From the looks of his stats, you'd better hope he runs better than he throws. I have no problem giving credit to the griz if they get a good-looking recruit, but I just don't see a lot to get excited about this kid. From the posts over at efriz, it doesn't sound like too many griz fans are thrilled either. Eric Allen (WR), now he sounds like someone to get excited about.
