Yep, great point Bozone .... you be passive against a press and they instill their will in you .... ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK! Our guards/small lineup is causing them havoc so far it looks like.BozoneCat wrote:With our guards, I'll be happy if PSU presses us the whole game. I'm glad to see that Mick understands that you beat the press by attacking it, not by passively passing the ball around up the floor.

Just my opinion, but I think we should not play Casey Durham near as much when we are on the road. He obviously is going to get the brunt of the attention from opposing teams' fans, and he clearly has not learned how to deal with it. He loses his cool too easy, as most freshman are prone to do, and he tries to shut up the crowd with big plays, but he presses too hard and ends up making big mistakes.

Just for the record, that's not a personal attack or a slam on Casey. I doubt very many freshman would be able to handle that sort of situation with the maturity that only age and experience develops. But, I think we should nurture him and let him develop in a role that puts him in situations that let him excel.

It's called pathetic rebounding and passive offense that settles for long shots. When the shots aren't falling, good teams understand that you take the ball to the hole and draw fouls. Obviously, this is a lesson that Mick has never bothered to pass along to any of his teams.WYCAT wrote:How in the hell can you give up a 20-3 run? I don't care if you are playing Illinois that is pathetic.

I hate to say it but couple this 1/2 with the performance we put up at EWU on Thursday and the Cats that most people expected this season seem to be alive and well. I just hate our lack of ability to adapt and change when things go sour. We seem to be just waiting for a chance to roll over and throw in the towel.
