I told cardiac this last week. "The cats can shoot anybody out of a game and then shoot anybody into the game." But no all he wanted to talk about was Inside/outside attack. Heck they shot 59% last week against NAU. Bound to shoot 39% this week against someone. The Big Sky is a Basketball messss. Got to be one of the worst leagues...and UNC won't help.

Never mistake activity for accomplishment.

I'm sick of the man because the man is a thief.

For the love, how many shots have we taken tonight that Kris said, "barely grazed iron..."?

Thank god, Miller hits a big two at the buzzer to pull us within six at the half.

Not exactly rocket science to make these observations, but (sadly) very true.

You are a lot right Jagur. We won a few early BSC games at the end and instead of being 5-0 could have easily been 3-2 or 2-3. I guess the law of averages has caught up with us. This is nothing new for MSU basketball though. We have lived and died with shooting for years now.

I also agree about the conference in general. We don't even deserve an automatic bid to the big dance this season. PSU is the cream of the crop right now and they haven't done crap away from their junior high gym. Crummy-when does FB start again?

You told me this? We've been talking about it on this board for about 2 months now. If they play their game unselfishly and go inside/outside they can beat anyone in the league. Getting them to do that is another thing. The have been doing that the last 2-3 weeks and thats why they have been winning. Durham runs a motion shooting offense so that is also probably why we don't get as many calls either. We are still in this game ... just need to do the little things better (assists/less TO's/rebounding) and get some BENCH SCORING! I think we don't have any scorers off the bench at all?

I agree that Boxley seems to get every call as well. PSU has a pretty athletic team though. The Grizzly style with bigger/more physical players didn't do very well against them either. We need our shooters to heat up in the 2nd half and get some easy baskets in transition on that press.

My feed is down to about 50% now. Pretty soon I may have to swith to the PSU site.

It was good enough to hear PSU get another offensive rebound and then follow that up with a basket and a fould on Al. I see we picked up the intensity during the halftime talk.

Plus, it is hard to win on the road in the Big Sky ... especially against 2 of the top tier teams in the early preseason projections. We get to work this 2nd half and we can maybe steal this one though.

UGH .. BLOCK OUT PEOPLE .. offensive rebounds are killing us! So are loose balls ... MSU has beat to every loose ball tonight as well.

We are somehow hanging in there though so I guess I will have another beer. Since I am up does anyone else need one?

Depending on how the next couple minutes go, I might need you to grab the funnel along with more beer!

Let's get this thing going, Cats!

I know without being there you shouldn't question the officiating too much but let's just say I can see why Boxley is the projected to be the player of the year. He can do whatever he wants and gets every call.

Ugh, starting to sound ugly. Just a hunch, but I have a feeling we beat PSU for sure in Bozeman. I agree its had to judge the officiating over the radio, but we are not getting any calls while they are (and we are till hanging with them despite shooting HORRIBLE from 3).

We beat this team in Bozeman though.

Getting ugly again. After climbing back into it we give up an 8-0 run and look to be fading into the sunset. I am sorry but I just can't believe a team that plays in a gym the size of Bozeman Junior High can dominate us like this. Sad for the Cats and BSC both. I agree with Bozone-how in the hell do they recruit kids? They must make sure they don't see the facilties.

I would say playing in a gym or storage shed this size is a BIG advantage for the home team. Fans are right on top of everything.

I agree that they don't sound unbeatable at all. We are 1 for 12 from behind the line, have been outshot at the line by at least 15, have given up a ton of offensive rebounds and easy bunnies and are still only down 8? Speaks volumes about the sky though.

I have never met or even seen this Boxley guy play but I really don't think I like him very much. Did you just hear Kris say that if you are within 4 feet of him and he has the ball it is a foul? Why?
