You're probably right, I don't really see what there is to gain from being in "your" conference. You have Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, North and South Dakota to recruit from and the best you level you can compete at is D1AA?? Hell, our players are the scraps that are left behind after CSU, CU, Air Force, and Wyoming have picked over the State, and we still put together a win against you! You can talk all you want about how great you are. At least the fans at UNC realize that Big Sky Football is the Pop Warner of the college ranks; you guys are under the illusion that a win against anyone, by Montana State, even scrolls across the bottom of a TV screen outside of Bozeman. I've got news for you...it doesn't.
By all means, NC Bear, please let the administration at NCU know that they are more than welcome to move on. Your athletic programs are currently dominating the competition in the Big Sky at such a frenzy that I am sure you will have no problem moving up a level. Send us a postcard and let us know how it works out for you.

Comptetave? Maybe the Big Sky should hold a Spelling Bee. I bet it would increase our win-loss record against Montana State to 2-0.
I never said we wanted to move up a level, we just wanted to get our asses kicked by decent competition. Thank you for coming into Greeley and "losing", it really helped to show the world how good a ranked Big Sky team can play.

Well based on your record, I'd say you've been accomplishing the "getting your asses kicked" part pretty well. If you're going to call people out for spelling, though, you'll look like less of a dope if you work on your grammar a bit (particularly when you're also trying to talk trash about "how well a ranked Big Sky team can play").

Hey, we lost to you - congratulations. If you look at our record historically, we have a bad habit of "playing down" to the level of competition. Maybe if you could improve your program somehow, we'll give you a better game next time. But when you start smacking the Big Sky Conference as a whole based on competitiveness, you are truly showing your ignorance. You've been the Big Sky's b&$tch for the past two years and will remain so as long you are here. Enjoy your win, it could be your last for quite some time.

Nice Duck? Sorry, I just needed more to work with than the "Let's compare records argument." It ranks up there with the "I'm rubber, you're glue" defense. This is the only record I need to know...UNC vs. MSU in 2007 Big Sky competition...UNC 1-MSU 0. Way to represent 'Cats.

Its actually MSU 3-2 UNC 1-4 but don't let the facts get in the way of a good argument

My bad, I should have specified "Fall 07". Don't worry about the facts, I haven't seen any from your side yet, just a lot of good 'ole hometown speculatin'. As I said, we suck, and we know it. You guys just suck a little more than we do.

Let's be fair here. If the Griz go 10-1 with their only loss being to the cats, then go on to win the NC, every single MSU fan will still claim that they're the best team in the state. Please don't try to deny this.

Hell's Bell's, I'm still waiting FOR a logical argument. I think maybe we need to find some common ground. Hey, we both got our asses kicked by Chadron State.

Yeah, but we did it FIRST! So there!

Wrong. Very, very wrong.

Please. Every time a Griz fan tries to use the "well, at least we made the playoffs" argument, the immediate response from Cat fans is "3 out of 4, we kicked your asses", etc etc.

When was the last time the Cats made the playoffs and the Griz didn't? I doubt I was even born yet, so how could I have made that argument?

I wasn't talking about playoffs as an argument. Every single dumbass griz reply is "griz envy" or "22 out of 25" or whatever the eff it is. Don't act stupid.
