I haven't posted much on this board (acutally first post), but signed up within the first couple of days this board was operational. I would imagine I've read 80% of all posts on this board. Moderators - Please for the love of all that is good, please close this thread. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I apologize if I have offended anyone or ruined anyone's days with this "Jack McGillis" thread. I guess I just viewed it as, if you don't want to read it, then don't click on it. Maybe that was to simple of a view. Regardless, thanks to all for viewing and posting about McGillis. We will see what happens come March. Maybe Jack will be filling his wardrobe with Blue -n- Gold. Thanks again.

'Hoops:
I don't think you've ruined anyone's day by starting this post. It was interesting for awhile..... But, I find myself like a moth to the flame, and whenever there is a new post I feel compeled to read it. Also, I'm quite aware of propogating this thread while my initial post was to try to make it go away. So you're right; I could just not open this thread anymore. Of course I'll keeping reading everyone's posts, and who knows maybe he'll set a Bobcat Nation record! Let's just hope he ends up wearing Blue & Gold.

Alright, I know no one has seen this thread for a little while, and therefore hope nobody blows a gasket here. But I was just curious if anyone has heard anything from the Bozo end on McGillis? Kid is playing superb as of late (three 30+pt. games in last 4) and Griz are all over him, but know he's still very interested in the 'Cats.

Durham is interested by McGillis. Assitant coach Carson was was in Missoula last Saturday to watch McGillis and Hellgate take on Hasquet and Sentinal. Carson liked what he saw of McGillis and I have heard that MSU is now very high on McGillis and not so much on Hasquet (they may not be recruiting him after offering him last fall) . Durham and the coaches are hoping to have a few choice basketball players in next week-end for the PSU game , Tommy Craddock being one, and I think that with Hellgate having a bye next week that McGillis may be asked to visit. On the outside there is some talk that if we can host the Big Sky Tourney that also might be a great week end to have the recruits in. On the McGillis front again I have heard that Durham wanted to get up to see McGillis in person this week, but I do not know how Hellgate and the Bobcats schedule sinc. up.

Apparently the Bobcat coaches are going to be in Butte Tuesday to watch McGillis. According to a family friend McGillis is waiting for a offer from MSU. That is his choice right now. One interesting note; the family doctor says that he may grow another 2 - 3 inches.

A very good friend of mine spent the weekend sitting with his parents at two games in Missoula. They offered this information.ballzdeep wrote:mthoops- I grew up in Montana near Miles City and know about high school basketball. A few messages ago you list some of the BEST high school basketball players in the state ever. WHY do you think Jack is the best? Because the next thing you are going to say is that he is better than Wayne Estes. Who else is going to be good around the state?
GTAPP- How do YOU know what his doctor has told him? It seems everyone knows all this personal info..... I'm just interested how you come about this info!
