One year our excuse was "We couldn't run our plays because there was too many tortillas on the playing field". But, then we won anyway, so no excuses needed.

It IS a good position to be in, I'll grant you that.rollo_tumasi wrote:You heard it here first: When the Griz lose all we will hear is that the game didn't matter, because they are still going to the playoffs and we aren't. Whatever takes the pain away I guess.

Yea those three field goals and a touchdown were really a spanking.MashTun wrote:12. Remind the fiz fans that one game doesn't constitute a 'streak'.GrizinWashington wrote:11. Practice how to console cat fans by saying things like, "Don't worry, you'll get 'em next year.... Or perhaps 17 years from now, but don't worry, you'll get 'em!".
And if I remember the 2005 game it was a SPANKING, not nearly as close as the score showed.
The GRIZ, a quarter century of total football dominance over the cats.

You won't find this Griz fan making any excuses. Both teams play on the same field, same conditions. I do, however, think your grass needs to be replaced w/ turf.MashTun wrote:I notice no denying the 'wrong cleats' excuse! Do remember to scapegoat the equipment manager again fiz fans....Billings_Griz wrote:Funny, been plenty of bitching from cat fans on these topics this year.catatac wrote:Don't forget to bring a pocket full of excuses to use after the game when we spoil your perfect season!![]()

Most Missoula fans would highly disagree with you. They don't want their grass taken away for anything.Billings_Griz wrote:... I do, however, think your grass needs to be replaced w/ turf.

One thing griz fans should bring is a hard hat because we will be taking down the MF goal posts after another cat win at home. We wouldn't want them to get hit in the head and be even more dUMb then they already are. FTG! GO CATS GO!
I think you don't get it. Sleeping in until 6 won't get many people very far in life, especially if they want to play on Sunday.

Like I said.. 'not nearly as close as the score showed'.

If you don't remember/disagree I could send you a tape of the game. The Griz got whipped in '05, like it or not.

You aren't very skilled at the whole 'smack talk'. We make fun of their team, not ours. LOL, true cat. I have, however, seen your guys kick (attempt) a few field goals this year. Someone should tell your kicker(s) the ball needs to go BETWEEN the goal posts.catamaran wrote:In case you've missed this season, we haven't needed them very muchBillings_Griz wrote:Just as well take 'em down, won't be needing them 'til next year anyway.ImagineSanta wrote:One thing griz fans should bring is a hard hat because we will be taking down the MF goal posts after another cat win at home. I would have to disagree with you about the game last year. If you will recall, we still had an excellent opportunity to take the lead with maybe 2-3 minutes remaining. If I remember correctly, we got to about the 20, but unfortunately just couldn't get the go-ahead score on 4 tries from there. The 2005 game, on the other hand, was never at all competitive....you know, because of the sloppy field conditions and all (feel free to insert additional lame excuses).Grizlaw wrote:True, the 2005 game was not as close as the score indicated...but if you want to make that argument, let's also not forget that (1) UM also dominated last year's game more than the score indicated, and (2) UM's win in 2004 was somewhat of a blowout both on the scoreboard (38-22, with MSU getting a garbage TD with about 5 mins left), and on the stat sheet.MashTun wrote:12. Watching Carpenter lead the team from the 20 last year. I felt the Griz could have given him 15 chances and the cats wouldn't have scored. Once Rolo gimped out the cats had no chance.John K wrote:I would have to disagree with you about the game last year.
