I would've said good game first, but it really wasn't. If you're gonna talk sh*t all week, expect to have the favor returned when you get the pants beat off of you.MSU Toddler wrote:your team wins and the first thing you do is go na na na na na na.... pretty f$#%ing lame . . . but i guess i expected that of you and a few others.
good game griz players - you have a good team.
duh - both sides talked crap. now man up and say congrats and move on. don't be a ****** poorsport...MSU Toddler wrote:

perhaps down the road (especially before next year's game - gonna hear it then i'm sure), but wouldn't have run over to egriz the second the game ended and acted like a punk. probably would have 'celebrated' the accomplishment instead of being a poor sport (best damn example of that i've ever seen).Toddler, you would have been talkin' chit had you won, admit it.
I agree completely with you Toddler. But this does happen both ways. Hell, even our loss to UMass last year there were 4 or 5 Cat fans who immediately rushed to eGriz to rub it in. But I agree with you, probably not the best sportsmanship in the world.MSU Toddler wrote:perhaps down the road (especially before next year's game - gonna hear it then i'm sure), but wouldn't have run over to egriz the second the game ended and acted like a punk. probably would have 'celebrated' the accomplishment instead of being a poor sport (best damn example of that i've ever seen).Toddler, you would have been talkin' chit had you won, admit it.
oh by the way, what was my initial reaction? feel free to scroll up...
very easy to tell the character of a person by their actions.
If that was an ass kickin' then what do you describe a game as when one team jumps on a team early and never lets up until it has a 40 point lead by halftime or early in the second half? I always thought that was an ass kicking, not when you fall behind and then pull away in the final minutes.GrizinWashington wrote:That was pretty much a good old fashioned ass kickin'.
Cats will be strong going forward, though. I really am impressed with the program you guys have built. It's one thing to have a good team for a couple of years. It's another to do what the Griz and Cats have done, and that's be at the top of their conference year in and year out.
I dunno, CC. I guess I'd have to go back a few years and see what I called it when the Griz were consistantly beating the cats like that. But you tell me, if a ten point win where a team scores a total of 16 points and had only a small margin of yardage advantage is "dominating" as so many people on here describe it, what would you call this game?crazycat wrote:If that was an ass kickin' then what do you describe a game as when one team jumps on a team early and never lets up until it has a 40 point lead by halftime or early in the second half? Yes, the Griz are better and, yes, they won going away.

After I was coming back from my altered state last night I had some coffee I watched the replay.
With 3:30 left in the game we were up by 7 points. The drive was helped along with a maybe penalty and a maybe bad call giving us a first down on the goal line.
We probably should have only had a 3 point attempt on that drive. We would have been up 10 with less that 3 minutes to go and I would have been happy but those points in the end came in a bunch and really doesn't mean we kicked their azzes.
