Can anyone recommend a good place to stay in the Boston area?

Gillespie's- she lives right downtown- I had a great time there.

if u have watched the old tv show cheers there is 2 bars named cheers - cheers 1 and cheers 2, which is based off of the tv show....details are rather clowdeytho

The Actual bar the show was based on is actually called the Bull and Finch Pub and its located right across from Boston Common. Boston was a great town. I cant recomend a place to stay, because I was actually out in Melrose where I stayed. If you have time check out Salem and Glouster as well. both great places. As for your time in Boston. Be sure to take in the Freedom trail. More history in that 2 or so miles than probably anywhere else in our country. As a history teacher I found it amazing.

And don't forget as much as people in South Boston love tourists coming through, it is best to avoid that area.
