I just caught up on the Carlito posts. Wow if that wasn't entertaining as hell. I have never seen someone actually lose touch while they were posting on a message board. I think you should definitely have him back. Maybe on Sunday nights when things are slow on the board. Open up a two hour window for him. That is gold.

I'd have to agree with that. The guy was so out of his mind ridiculous, it made for a good laugh! The thing that really got me is the posters that started getting offended by his outlandish comments! After 2 of Carlito's comments, anybody should realize that he was full of crap. I do like the Sunday evening special starring Carlito idea!

Ah, freak it, let him walk on. If nothing else, the team has another manager.
BTW, your internet search (not your GPS) is probably correct with Bozeman being in the 4810' range- those of us who have been there know for a fact that it's all up hill (and a good 10 miles ) to get from the downtown bars back to the campus area.
D^%$ straight!!! Sadly I discovered this truth walking to the bars, not back up to campus.
However anyone with a manual transmission, who uses 4th as a short cut from main street to Kagy can attest that you will definetly roll down hill if you have to stop for cross traffic.

IMO, if you look at the video on YouTube on the Livengood kid, it is amazing. How many all-state players from California were offered this year? None. Only all-staters from Montana were offered. Someone really missed the boat on this one. The kid is legend in North Orange County. He embarrased D1-A scholarship players when he was in 9th grade while playing scout defense (and the fact that the upper-classmen were being worked by a freshman was emphasized by a HS All-American who was a starting center at UCLA in the early 1990's). He is stronger than JUCO defensive lineman who are as large as 6'5" and 260 lbs. (bench reps with 120 lbs. in each hand, shrugs with 405 lbs, leg presses over 1000 lbs for reps). When you look at the YouTube videos, he has punt hangtimes at 5.0s (hand-timed - the prefered method by kicking camps, coaches, and combines) in Vegas (2000 ft. in elevation at best). He turned down a position on a sprint team that will probably go sub 43s in the 4x100 this year.
Now who is idiotic and REDICULOUS. How will you ever get to the playoffs if you overlook players like this? And, it sounds like he is a Montanan down to the cellular level. You can't blame him if his family decided to get out of Montana and ended up in California.

Oh, another fact on the California kid who is promoted by the idiotic and REDICULOUS. There is a kid coming to ISU from Valencia High School in Placentia, CA named Wes Fletcher. Your suggested walk-on/team manager became annoyed at Fletcher's ability to move the ball during a ninth-grade game in 2004. He hit Fletcher so hard while playing defensive end, that Fletcher's eyes glazed over and started to roll back into his sockets. This effectively ended Fletcher's activity that afternoon. To add insult to injury, he nailed a 56-yard punt (five yards of roll) that put Valencia at their own 7 yard line with time running out.
Hey, turn him down. You're doing him a favor. A California JUCO team contacting him to punt for them, and this team has the reigning All-American punter and the punter before the one who just left is the punter at USC.

If that is actually the kid that Carlito was boasting about, he seems like a hell of a punter/ D tackle/ D end.

Funny how the mods didn't mention the e-mail address that C. Brigante uses. I know C. Brigante, and he is not a nut job. He is probably one of the most brilliant persons at one of the PAC-10's health science campuses. He has been involved with the program from the testing side at this school and has incredible insight into recruiting and all the games played to make an entire set of freshman running backs and linebackers eligible when they should be at a JUCO. He comes from the OCVarsity.com school of posting and blogging, where brashness is the order of the day. The kind that even gets you annointed by the Orange County Register. You can't post like a milque-toast and survive there.
You claim that C. Brigante is posting over on EGriz as Leguizamo, yet the Bay Area Cat is pimping his "beautiful pictures of Montana" book (like how difficult is it to produce beautiful pictures of Montana - including the picture of him trying to look like Jerry West in sixth grade - sorry about the hair, it was beautiful once too). Is he the Bay Area Cat or the Bay Area Griz. Sorry Chet, Cal already has claim to the title.
Don't take life so seriously. C. Brigante pulls everyone's leg on these boards. These boards are for fun and to let your real personality out - not the phony ones we have to put on in corporate America on a daily basis. Let's see if you can figure out who he is on OCVarsity.com.

How do you know he didn't sign it? Well, actually, he wrote it according to C. Brigante, so signing it is somewhat redundant.
You need to understand Montana history to understand why he was there. The years 1887-1889 were crucial in setting up statehood. Hammond showed up in 1887 at 28 years of age. He came essentially from the eastern seaboard and in earshot of Washington D.C. He was a Republican and a freemason, and this lot ran the state for at least the first quarter century of statehood. Do you think he was there by accident? There is a political scientist at Wake Forest who is quite fond of the 1889 constitutional convention, especially the proceedings and debates from the 45 days. Maybe he could provide some insight.

First let me address that i was saying C. Brigante was rediculous and idiotic. His attack on MSU was uncalled for and left him and whoever this kid was in bad standing with SOME of us because of his comments. I was NOT under any circumstances calling Livengood ridiculous. Please dont assume information by misinterpreting what i was saying. Second If Livengood is this amazing where are all the other offers? Please PLEASE tell me? Because if he is as great as he is he shouldnt want to come to our school anyway. Thirdly you dumbsh@t we made the playoffs last year and beat a good Furman team.
Lastly as i start my st. Paddys day.....You obviously don't know what your talking about and you just got on this post. Why dont you market your player somewhere else because im honestly tired of hearing bout him

I think you may be on to something. This clown changes his screen names to movie characters. Max Cady was Robert De Niro's role in Cape Fear. to go along with Carlito Brigantes, from Carlito's Way.

C. Brigante already spoke with Ash. It was more of a bad timing issue in terms of getting other-than-punting credentials to the program. Ash was considering the California All-Stater for a D-line position, but hasn't gotten back. Said he couldn't afford a punter now, and he already has a punter who averages 42 gross yards/punt.
The funny thing is that this board has no clue. Ash laughs at the fact that you all had selected everyone else as a possible new head coach except for him, so go ahead and be a bunch of posers pretending to be so loyal to the guy you didn't really want.

My bad. You meant the Political Scientist at Wake Forest.
http://www.wfu.edu/politics/faculty.html
Follow the link, his name is John Dinan. The substantive motions made by Hammond in the summer of 1889 were to pay the superintendant of public instruction a salary of $3,000 a year (definitely into education), and to ban the sale of alcohol where there was gambling (definitely not into Vegas - represented Jefferson County - miners raising hell and willing to shoot each other over a bad hand).
