In that case, you feel bad for the kid. Any parent should believe in their kid and support them in whatever they want to do (outside of attending U of M, of course Hey, it's the smack board.) But sometimes, a parent goes too far and makes things difficult for teachers, coaches, and whoever else. I hope the kid ends up somewhere positive and does well.

And I guess I should really read the whole segments, but after dealing with 100 some teenagers all day, sometimes I don't read the whole thing.

This kind of injury doesn't necessarily scare off even major programs. Troy Van Blarcom had an ACL reconstruction that allowed him to play a partial season his senior year, yet he went straight to SC. There were other issues that should have scared off SC.

If you can recover and play without a brace without problem the following year, you are on even ground with players who have yet to have their ACL slayed.
