We're getting pretty good going around Helena

But, I'm not going to hold my breath because there's also been the same information about Going to the Sun and FINALLY building a bypass around Kalispell. But, Kalispell presented a plan to the state calling for TEN????? interchanges in an eight mile bypass

What's the purpose of a bypass then?

Well, Sam finally took a drive around the state and pulled his support out of that project

Although in theory like Byrd in West Virginia "If We Build it They Will Come" has it's appeal, every weekend as I journey back to Bozo or the Flathead, I laugh at every 4 for 2 sign. Sitting and watching Coach give you crap about your grades, I know you're not old enough to remember when the Interstates came through Montana and all of our regional fighting

Billions of dollars wasted because some of the worst possible lobbyists were able to adversely influence our state capitol, but...we'll keep fighting among ourselves long after all of us are long dead and gone...most of us here still have a 516 or 517 a social security prefix that mandates for the rest of our lives "I agree to disagree to the point of being disagreeable."

I was always wondering where that part of my personality came from ... stupid 517.

Oh, tell me about it. After the better part of 30 years in the south where mood swings didn't change with the wind, temperature, who made more money, etc., etc., and we could all be like in Butte sitting on the porch drinking beer, Jack or sweet tea...anyway, it took me about five months to figure out my father didn't really have dementia--he's just never been any other place except the Phillipines during WWII

But...I've finally learned to not allow myself to get drug into a discussion with anyone that's never learned how to apply logic and reason. Hope our three congressmen can continue to earmark money for specific projects rather than somehow let our regional inhouse fighting divert money to various and assorted boondoggles...
