Your homepage show the cats getting 13th in the NCAA in skiing. I saw in the paper last week that Rocky Mountain took 1st. Same Division? Is Skiing like Football and Basketball with different Divisions.

Don't know for sure what division Rocky would be in(is there an NAIA skiing?) but they are not in NCAA Div 1 as MSU is as U of Denver finished first. From the msubobcats.com report the final standings in the NCAA championship were:
Denver claimed the overall team title with 622.5 points. The Pioneers were followed by Vermont 575, Utah 545, New Mexico 518, Dartmouth 486, Colorado 438, Alaska-Anchorage 436, Middlebury 326, Nevada 303, Northern Michigan 300, Colby 280, New Hampshire 222.5, Montana State 209, Williams 201, Alaska-Fairbanks 165, Boise State 92, Whitman 71, Michigan Tech 61, Lt. Lawrence 56, UW-Green Bay 42, Bates 30 and Western State 26.

Not the same division. The MSU club team competes against Rocky's varsity team. The club team is basically a group who is not on scholarship and has to foot their own bill for any trips that they make.

The MSU varsity team competes against the likes of Colorado, Denver, New Mexico, and the other big Boys....the club team competes against other club teams, as well as the varsity teams of smaller schools like Rocky.
