I could pull it up, but all it was, was height, weight.
I'm looking for the typical stuff you see in articles on these type of things, quotes like, "I'm really excited to play for MSU - the Bobcats are two-time defending Big-Sky champs, blah blah blah Travis Lulay blah blah blah Coach Kramer blah blah blah Playoff run blah blah blah beat the Griz."
Only stuff you can get from a reporter who takes the time to make a few phone calls to find out about him, and talk to him and the coaches that know him.
Oh well....i'll keep checking the Tribune then

Wow, my sentiments exactly. The Bozo paper is the worst, followed by the Gazette. I live in Billings and this fall I am going to subscribe to the Trib in Great Falls. After each game I check the sports on line for reports on the Cat's game. Missoula, usally good coverage, Bozeman, ouch, Billings-OK and the Great Falls paper is great. Just my 2 cents worth.

Who's working at the Chronicle in Sports these days? I haven't seen Tony Castleberry's (hoops) or Tim Haas's (football) bylines for quite a while. How many people work on the sports page there? They both do good work, but maybe they are short on help. They have a large service area with Bozeman, Belgrade, Livingston, Manhattan, Manhattan Xtian, and Three Forks. Not to mention West Y'stone, Clyde Park and all the other small schools in the area.
The Chronicle leaders - publisher, managing editor, etc. - need to get that place lined out. I wouldn't think that their being UM grads somehow gets in the way of MSU's football/bball coverage. I wonder if they even get it?
