As well as I can remember, he has only gotten his team to the championship game twice, winning it in 1996 and losing against Northern Arizona a few years later. I can't recall the exact year, but I do remember Nate Holmstadt playing on that team, and I also remember we got killed.Helcat72 wrote:I'd be curious to know how many times he played for the tourney title...I know he won it once.

Once again, and with very little surprise, another ridiculous and ignorant post from 88. To call me a "stats person" is just asinine - I challenge you to find a single post of mine where I blather on about stats. The only stats that matter to me are wins and losses. If I was such a "stat man," then explain to me why I have been such a strong supporter of Coach Kramer - I don't think his stats thus far have been a ringing endorsement of his coaching ability. On top of that, I have no ties to the Durham family that blind me to the facts. I don't know who you are, but it sure seems that you are at the very least good friends with them.MSU88 wrote:That is because you are a stats person...an individual person...no team concept!BozoneCat wrote:I couldn't possibly DISAGREE with that statement any more.MSU88 wrote:You are only as good as your last season.....stats mean nothing.urcrackinmeup wrote:I would like to see his stats.
However, if you do want to talk stats, I'll leave you with my most telling statistic in the area that you consider important (only as good as your last season): 14-14. Is that good enough for you? If so, I feel sorry for you. **Let it be noted that I am on record as supporting Mick this off-season.**
