I watched practice for about 2 minutes yesterday, and in that very short time, "lulay light" was one person who really stood out at receiver. He made a few nice catches, and one great catch. He looked to be playing with the first string (gatewood and roosevelt are out), and did a pretty good job. He really reminded me of one of the quick little receivers that the griz have had over the past few years. Sort of a Jimmy Ferris/Jefferson Heidleburger/TJ Oelkers. Not very big, but great athletic ablity, huge heart and great hands.
I also tried to pay close attention to the Tight Ends. From the very small amount of practice I saw, we definitely looked young at that position, but it looked like Bostick had the best hands, and I wasn't able to see any action where they were forced to block for the running game. Although it does like the TEs have beefed up quite a bit.

Bostick is out for spring ball now, read in the Chronicle. I know his brother.wbtfg wrote:

I could have sworn that the Chronicle said that Barnardt was out for the rest of spring. How good of friends are you with Bostick/Barnhardt's brother?

It's TwoLay fellas
Little Lulay
Lulay Lite
These are both decent names for Tyler but i think we can all agree that,
TWOLAY is by far the greatest name anyone on the whole wide planet could come up with. I make a motion that he forever be known as TwoLay. (2lay will work too)
I need someone to second it.

If I was Tyler, next year I wouldn't like to be call 2Lay because of my brother who is gone.peedintunnel wrote:Little Lulay

Also Lulay Lite and Little Lulay are all demeaning to some extent (implying he is the lesser in all ways).
I think everyone that has an older brother or sister that was good in their own right) understands Tyler wants to succeed on his own and have his own identity.
We are trying to show Travis respect, and we are trying to indicate Tyler appears to have what it takes. All great things. But Tyler is his own man and will be here 3 years after this one by himself and being called Lulay Lite or 2Lay at that time doesn't make sense. He is going to make his own different mark during that time.
I feel he should have his own identity.
Just a thought from right field (without trying to offend).
