This is the third year in a row that a thrower has taken this award for MSU. Chrissy McKinstry received it in 2003, and Zach Jones in 2002. Other throwers that have received the award include Ryan Mizner 1998, Mark Olson 1993, Lance Deal 1984, and Byrl Thompson 1983.
