I hear Jim Shaw, current Washington assistant coach, and former Bobcat Assistant is rumored to be considered for the open position at PSU. When I hear MSU boosters talk about getting rid of Durham Shaw's name comes up most often as a viable canidate to take over the program.

Didn't know anyone was trying to get rid of Mick  Thought he did a pretty good job last year and he'll lead MSU to many more than 14 wins next year. Project at least a 20 win season playing a lot of guard oriented offense (and defense) instead of that damn half court fat mans "basketball" we'd have to watch up over the hill.

It seems to me that the "fat man's" game is what eventually winns the conference tourney. Look at the two teams that played for the bid this year. The two with the biggest most physical front line.

Rarely do teams win championships without an effective inside game.

UM vs Weber (both had good big men)
Illinois had no big man, and they showed that.

I'm hoping my Suns snap that trend. ;)

You can be sucessful without a big man you just have to shoot well when it matters, which we didn't last year. Also, conditioning becomes a big factor when you run up and down the court as fast as I expect us to. If we are in better shape than any team next year, we can simply wear them down with speed and conditioning.

Either way, I'm definately looking forward to next year!
