CAT/griz in Billings

Post by blgscats » Sun Nov 09, 2008 12:39 pm

Since the game is in Missoula this year we are going to hit the town to watch the game. The problem is everytime we do this we end up at a bar with a couple of CAT fans and packed full of griz fans. Does anyone know where all the CAT fans go? If not maybe we should designate a place, where we can gather.

Yeah- I realize that all of the griz fans are bandwagon jumpers. That's okay I would rather have fewer fans, but at least they are real fans!! :suds:

I'll be willing to stake out some territory at Hooligans if anybody else is in.

We were thinking either Hooligan's or the Rock Pile. We are in the process of rounding up as many any Cats as we can get.

I've also have a crew taking over the Stadium Club in the Heights. It will mainly be folks from the late 90's and early 2000's. We plan on arriving early such to secure the entirety of the bar.

I tried Hooligans last year and all I could see was too much dark pink. All 'Cat fans are welcome to the Stadium Club. Cheap beer and friend foods will abound. See you there!!

Go CATS!!

We have watched a couple of games at the stadium club and it was never friendly. We were even regulars there for a while. The first Cat/griz game we watched there we were the only 2 Cat fans there and we won! That was the best tasting "victory shot" ever!!!

Yah, the Stadium Club is hit or miss I find.

There is also talk of a big crew headed to the Grandstand. Details to follow ...

From what I understand, there will be a crew at the Grandstand.

You hear correctly! We moved our location to the Granstand. The Stadium Club idea went over like a fart in church. Several us are going to get there before 11 to stake out the best seats.

Get all the Cat fans to come!!

Hooligans would be a bad choice as the owners are Griz fans. Grandstand sponsored our softball team and they are about 50/50. Why not hit up like BWW. I know they try to be 50/50 but I think they actually get more Bobcat fans. I bet you can get the loft to play the game. That is the Bobcats kind of bar. :? [-X

A lot of the Bobcat Club folks will be at BWW. I figure with all the other rivalry games going on and the prominence of BWW, Granstand would be a good bet.

See all you BN CAT fans at the Grandstand on Saturday!!
