I accidentally caught the radio show this week and listened to part of it. No way that thread was smack. Hack is POS.

are you honestly saying that you not only believe that hauck would encourage his players to hurt opposing players? and do you honestly believe that he would say this on a live broadcast? i don't suppose you could provide the station, radio show, link, etc.? i understand the hate for the griz. i'm right there with ya. and i understand they hate us. but don't let that get in the way of rational thoughts.

He didn’t divulge the full transcript of his pep talk to the team, and I haven’t looked for a link to a recording of the radio show, but he did say, approximately, that the grinz fans shouldn’t just support the team, don’t just be into the game, they need to show the maximum level of hostility. And he repeated hostility about four times. You could hear the spit hitting the microphone. I think he’s got it in his head nobody’s going to give him a ticket out of Missoula if he doesn’t win this game. Sounded pretty desperate. Not the kind of public representation I'd expect out of someone with integrity.

Shortly thereafter, during the obligatory segment about whether or not the game means more to the Montana raised players, he said that if it makes a difference in how they play, they obviously have a huge advantage since they have so many Montana boys playing, implying the Cats don’t, and stoking the quazi bigotry of dipsticks as are occasionally featured here. Hack is just low class all the way. Previously, I just didn’t see any reason to like him. Now I consider him a prevaricating POS.

that's all fine and great, but the initial thread said that hauck wanted our guys to be carried out on stretchers, and was encouraging dirty play. i stated that there is no way he would ever say that, even if he wanted it to happen, which i doubt. their fans should be hostile! and i honestly have no problem in what he said. it will be that much sweeter when the cats win. there is a big difference between a loud, hostile, mean environment, and hostile cheap players. imo.

While I don't doubt Bobby is trying to fire up the rank and file....I have my doubts about how you paint the picture of what was actually said or implied.

In any event...instead of we Cats whining about such things....just relish in the FUN that is Bobcat/Griz. Makes the win all the more sweet.
