Your going to a Sac State game?I might take in one game (besides the all-important one) just to see how the bottom dwellers are doing.

You mean that same Sac State team that beat the Cats by 10 last year?mquast53000 wrote:Your going to a Sac State game?I might take in one game (besides the all-important one) just to see how the bottom dwellers are doing.
But I Suppose those crappy DII titles should count that you won???Cat Grad wrote:What amazes me most about their arrogance is that very few of them today realize that their school was once in the conference that morphed into the PAC-8 and the only win they were able to get on a consistent basis was the little aggie school in the game that used to be played in Butte--and then they're too ignorant, I would assume, to realize the overall record in our series is something like 66-33That'd be like counting their series record against Western
Kind of embarrassing on their part and makes you pretty proud of the old time Cats that would take them on, and evidently win more than a few times

I'll be rather gentle here as I'm assuming you have absolutely no understanding as to the history of the NCAA. Before 1978, there were only two national champions. One was the small college and the other was the major schools. Our championship in 1976 was significant in that our school beat ALL the wannabe conferences that pretend to be D1 (visualize the WAC, MAC, ConUSA, SunBelt) and 1-AA and DII schools.Hell's Bells wrote:Go Scats Go wrote:But I Suppose those crappy DII titles should count that you won???Cat Grad wrote:What amazes me most about their arrogance is that very few of them today realize that their school was once in the conference that morphed into the PAC-8 and the only win they were able to get on a consistent basis was the little aggie school in the game that used to be played in Butte--and then they're too ignorant, I would assume, to realize the overall record in our series is something like 66-33That'd be like counting their series record against Western

Anyway, attempt to diminish our accomplishments if it makes you feel better. Our championship in 1976 is worth more than your 95 or 01 mid-mid levels combined--then throw in 84 for good measure and you've got more than a few to go to get to our past levels.
MSU is the second largest feeder school into Boeing....U Wash is first.El_Gato wrote:jag,
I'm not sure if this is still true or not but I do know that once upon a time Boeing only actively pursued Engineering grads from MSU & 2 other schools and that Boeing to this day employs A TON of MSU alumni.
And the fact that your brother is in a position of hiring Engineers says something, does it not?
