Meat, they are savages in Missoula!

Man accused of punching deaf teen
Associated Press

MISSOULA - A transient is jailed on $5,000 bail for allegedly punching a deaf 13-year-old boy and stealing $5 the boy had just panhandled from a passing motorist.

John Locke, 34, appeared before Justice of the Peace Karen Orzech on a felony robbery charge.

Court records said Missoula police responded to a call Saturday of a juvenile panhandling near an Interstate 90 off-ramp.

When officers arrived, the boy had left, but his mother reported that her son had been assaulted by the defendant.

The boy told officers he saw the defendant and a companion soliciting money from drivers at the interchange and decided to do the same.

Shortly after a driver gave the boy $5, the defendant punched him in the stomach and lower back and took the $5 bill out of his pocket, officers said.

Police arrested Locke, and both he and the boy were warned that soliciting from a public right of way is illegal in Montana.
No doubt a UM grad!

I just got back from the detention center in Missoula. Thankfully, my brother's bail was only $400.

Meat, what the hell are you still up for? I've got an excuse: tomorrow's the last day of the best school year I've ever had and I'm celebrating and wish I didn't have to call this year the end to a pretty enjoyable career.

Yeah, let's do it. My uncle used to work for Lucky in Great Falls.

I tried to get into Glasgow and have a few with some of our other posters, but like everyone else, they're moving away from the HiLine and headed for the big cities

No doubt a UM grad!
A good article to Missoula crap about, but you missed the best part - it was a transient who hit the kid (no doubt a MSU grad traveling west from Bozeman), but the pathetic part of the article is this:

Sending your 14 year old deaf kid out to solicit on the street corner? That's a good rip on Missoula, not the transient from Bozeman punching the kid

The transit just graduated from UM. He is starting his career with his newly acquired degree.

Not a bad idea George, but leave Butte out of the deal. We do have several Cats there.

BTW George- you are the Commander-in Chief, not the Commander & Chief- I voted for ya, but ya gotta get it right pilgrim. :D
