Re-reading my post, and knowing how posts can sometimes be misread unless they are pretty clear, I should stress that I actually did get along very well with almost everyone I met within the Greek system. There were just a couple I didn't care for, and those are the ones that I learned to co-exist with due to the close quarters that I otherwise would have just avoided completely.
