Have just seen Smith/Lindsey on those film clips someone posted a while back. Both very athletic/fast and aggressive football players from what I can see on those clips. I'm curious on Guinn and Dominick as well. Anyone?

Guinn, dominick, and E. Smith are here. I hear C. Lindsey has some grade issues he is trying to clear up. Report on J. Dominick is he is a little out of shape, but has very quick feet - weighing about 225lbs. M. Milton is looking good, weighting about 215 and in shape.

Also heard they got a commitment from a line-man from CMR during the football camp.

That's great new's on Milton. Domineck has time to get into shape, so I am not too worried about him. Especially during the first part of the season since we are going to be breaking in two new tackles.
Glad to hear that Guinn and E. Smith are in town and working out. They are going to be huge this year for us. As for Lindsey, I hope he gets his grades in order.

Any clue as to who the lineman from CMR is?

I saw the two Capital O-Linemen on campus today at freshman orientation and had a chance to chat with both of them. First of all, they are huge and with a high certainty, i can tell you that they will be great for the program. They seemed very excited to put the pads on and get to work. They are going through a tough summer program and both have a high level of confidence in their future at MSU. Great Kids- best of luck to both!

Excuse my ignorace since I've been away for seven years, but did the Hartman kid that Hauck lambasted come from CMR?

I know everyone blamed the kid as much as Hauck, but really, a coach should be above the petty stuff. I wonder if that stance against Hartman will hurt Hauck in keeping Montana high-schoolers headed toward Missoula.

Papa G: Hartman was from CMR. I am not sure if this one incident will impact potential recruits as much as the general attitude and demeanor of Hack.

gfallscat: The rumor I have been hearing is that Gathing may play some fullback. I have not seen him inthis role, but it sounds exciting. I am assuming as an ex-LB, he would not mind blocking and the physicality (now even I sound like Kramer) involved, but he would also bring some real speed to that position which may mean a few more FB run plays and more FB passes. This would give us another big threat that defenses would have to worry about.

Gathering is listed at 6-0, 200 which isn't real big when it comes to a lead blocker. But some guys play bigger or with more physicality or even more ferociousnosity.

"Ferociousnosity"

Is that a Bush-ism? LOL

I like Gathing at fullback. He looks strong as an ox, and he seems not to shy from contact, at least not from what I saw in spring ball. He seems to be too good to not have on the field, which I think is a great thing!
