Shoot if we get enough good DT’s we can go back to the 4-3 and stop messing with this crazy 3-4. I would be more comfortable with a 4-3…
By conference time, the Cats will be running the 4-3 again, I think.

Montana State IS what "they" think Montana is.

The weakest part of the team right now is the DL. The strongest part of the Defensive side of the ball is LB. Thus the reason for 3-4.
Adding a DL man isn't going to change that over night.
If you go 4-3, which LB do you sit to allow a less talented DL to play??
They will run both 3-4 and 4-3 this coming year (especially if Matakas comes back and it's short yardage when both Rogers and matakas can dig in). Only concern is protecting the LBs in the 3-4 to allow them to make plays (don't know if we can).

According to this article

http://www.dailyvanguard.com/vnews/disp ... 6f310d08a4

the UCLA kid is going to Portland State.

The article doesn't have very kind things to say about him.

Or the potential UCLA transfer could be someone other than this.

Brutal article, but very interesting.

Is it too soon for me to say, "Good, I didn't want that guy anyway. He's no good, and he's trouble," or do we have to wait for the official announcement from PSU to do the sour grapes routine?

Brutal to say the least! Good luck PSU. I am sure Kramer would not want all of that baggage in the locker room and on the field.

You don’t sit out any LB, you just move one out to rush end…

So do you think the author of this article is a season ticket holder?

That's a lot of baggage to deal with for a young man. Sad actually. Everything happens for a reason. So move on and let the countdown continue.
