You date yourself Gary. Manny's Greasy Spoon has been gone a looong time. Only reason I know about it is because my parents always talked about the huge plates of hashbrowns and the person waiting to eat behind you! :P

Absolutely! There is also one in the R Bar.

YES! They have the best potatoes too. Baby Red potatoes cut in half and seasoned and fried to perfection! Plus the oldtimeyness (hey I invented a new word!) is cool.

SF Red's rules - Mmmm - reds burrito w/ steak! I'd take the Bamboo Garden over the Panda any day - not as much selection, but better food. Bar 3 beats famous daves senseless. mk. River pizza - steak pizza is great - a must try. Burber bobs has great food and a cool atmosphere.

Can't believe no one mentioned Frontier Pies. I ate there recently and it is still as good as it was when I was a little kid going there after bobcat games w/ the parents. It has kinda gotten lost in the shuffle w/ all the big name chain places that have come in...

Alright all this talk of food has made me hungry - gotta go fix myself somethin...

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Just tried the Comet Grill in the mall. They cook your food fresh, and for 5.49 you get curly fries a cheeseburger and a drink. Mighty fine cheeseburgers for a fast-food type setting. Also the Famous Wok right across from Bob's Pizza in the mall has some pretty tasty Chinese food at very good prices.

Speaking of food at the mall, I would have to mention the Bay. I know that it is a little expensive and the atmosphere is almost snotty, but they make one hell of a good halibut sandwich.

definitely the Bay or Bistro if impressing a female "friend", but if it's just you & a buddy or two, Santa Fe Red's.
