Before going to the N.C.A.A. in 1998, Isch served as vice chancellor of finance and administration at the University of Arkansas, and was vice president for administration at Montana State University. He earned an undergraduate degree and a Ph.D. from Kansas State University and has an M.B.A. from Boston University.

That's interesting. I vaguely remember him, since I was there at the same time he was. From what I remember, he was a decent guy.
