why the griz are better than the kittys
ever wondered why UM has a 24,000 seat stadium, sprinturf, and and jumbo-tron replay screen... and the kittys have a playing field in the middle of a cow pasture, that has a crappy surface and no replay screen. i've wondered that often myself, and then remember year after year we win football games, includuding 17 out of the last 19 over you guys, we sell-out every game, and dont live in a hell hole of a town.
cuz if anyone was pondering that question that answers it pretty well. anyone else want to give that question a shot an see if you can prove me wrong, which is not likley to happen, but it never hurts to try.

First of all, we have a replay screen. Ever looked at MSU stadium before you speak, you dolt? Secondly, if I choose a point in history, we'd be 2 of the last 3 against the Griz. Doesn't sound so powerful then, does it?
Obviously you haven't ever experienced Bozeman. Trust me, I've lived in both towns, and Bozeman is by FAR the classier of the two.
Keep living in the past son, it's the only thing you Griz can hold on to besides moaning about the turf.

Grew up in Hamilton and went to Missoula all the time. There is no comparison between them. Missoula smells awful, has no character and is full of strange people.
Second: Your school vs ours: Again no comparison.
MSU: One of the top enginering schools in the nation.
U of M: Liberal Arts (need I say more)(but I must) Poets, tree huggers, ambulance chasers, mime's and McDonald's supervisors!
Your stadium is great, not the biggest but probably one of the best game day experiences in the nation (1-AA). BUT; MSU has a quality stadium, is in the top 20 in the nation in attendence (#2 in the BSC) has probably the most sky boxes of any 1-AA stadium (something U of M athletics dearly wants) has a beautiful grass field that is almost always in great shape and most of all: WE HAVE SUNSHINE AT OUR GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AMEN Gary! I've said it once and I'll say it again - Fissoula is a stinking filth-hole that needs to be filled in. Oh yeah, and they don't take care of their TERRIBLE knapweed problem. Too many treehuggers and greenies to do that I guess...gtapp wrote:Grew up in Hamilton and went to Missoula all the time. There is no comparison between them. You have a great way of putting illiterate friz fans in their place. Catslayer has either had too much to drink or he received his education in mazolla. How embarassing must it be to get beat by a team in a cow pasture?

Why are you so hostile? Relax brother. You pretty much have every Bobcat shaking in their boots. (You probably look like Kip in Napoleon Dynamite) Each of your messages are so unique and thought provoking.
How in the world do you come up with such witty, original thoughts in such a short time?
So tell me, what did you major in at mazolla. journalism?

Also the Great Falls Tribune (Montana's best newspaper) has a pretty good slideshow of the Griz-Cat game.

I usually don't harp on spelling and grammar. However, the next time you're proclaiming the superiority of your school over mine, you'll sound like a lot less of a jackass if you can get through the sentence without making an error of the type I highlighted above.gtapp wrote:MSU: One of the top enginering schools in the nation.

Are you criticizing his post because he added an apostrophe?
If you don't harp on spelling and grammar very often, that is a pretty weak time to start.
He also capitalized poets, if you are going to harp, go for the gold.

On the contrary, I think a response to a post in which he was crowing about what a great education he received at MSU is the best possible time to start harping on grammar. The fact that Mr. Tapp apparently managed to bumble his way to a diploma at MSU without learning the difference between a plural and a possessive does not reflect well on the institution.CelticCat wrote:Are you criticizing his post because he added an apostrophe?

My major was engineering not english. And yes, engineers do speak in their own language.Grizlaw wrote:On the contrary, I think a response to a post in which he was crowing about what a great education he received at MSU is the best possible time to start harping on grammar.
