i think most men are happy no matter what they're drinking as long as they're getting sex.

just make sure you bring all your skills to the game, you don't want to disappoint her.

The only tip I have for Melanie and Cybil are that they should hang out in the places that they like. More than likely, there will be single guys hanging out in the same places. If those places include kids, then all the better.

On the other hand, if Melanie likes cash, those guys are a dime a dozen in Seattle. The ones that are nice and like a ready-made family, however, are few and far between in my opinion.

One of my best friends had a kid with a real bitch, but they went ahead and got married anyway. That lasted about a year, and the relationship went to a new low every day. Finally they divorced. She hooked up with a really nice guy, and somehow it worked (I think he had a lot of money and he could take care of her in the manner to which her parents raised her). My buddy was single for years and years, and jumped anything of the opposite sex. Finally met a pretty nice mom with 2 kids (one in college), but she was in the same profession as my friend (I also think the sex was really good). They dated for quite awhile and finally wed. They had a kid, and are doing really well.

I guess my point is, your friends need to look for guys in places that, if they find one, there is a good chance that they will already have mutual interests.

I would hate to be in the dating scene today. Way too much work.

yeah, I agree about the dating scene being too much work. that's why I'm married, i took the easy way out

yeah, funny how they want me to help hook them up. i can't even figure the current men (husband, friends, and family) in my own life out.

girls talk, so they asked. Seriously, I can only set them up with married doctors, spent the last 21 months at Children's hospital in Seattle with my daughter Anessa. All i ever met were married Docs.

if ever suddenly single i'll stick to owning Dogs. Raising my kids and pondering the meaning life.

ps I don't have the best judgement when it comes to men, why else would i have walked away in '93 from Todd blackwell, right when Arizona drafts him? there went my life on easy street, but i like my hubby.

i dont know i am beginning to realise that dogs do make excellent companions

Agreed...Dogs don't argue. I doubt I would bother re-marrying. I don't think I would have the energy to make another marriage work, and my current one has been virtually a slam dunk.

If single, I would go to Cabo, however. My buds (some married some not) go every year. My wife gave me the hall pass to go, but I always say, "what good can come out of that trip?"

i don't believe in keeping men on short leashes. Brian is in MT June 25th until morning of July 4th. Splitting time b/w Missoula and Great Falls just partying with friends and being a guy.

I hope I don't hear from the cops, and as long as i don't he's fine to go have male bonding time.

he gives me a nice life, and now the baby is up from nap, so i'll finish later.
