Capital 28, CMR 26. Final.

They weren't missed kicks. Both were two-point attempts, according to the radio. One was a fake, the other a failed two-point attempt.

Thanks for the explaination. I was watching the Cats/Weber VB on BigSkyTV and tuned in late.

No prob. Sounds like Jack out-coached himself.

Miller 15 carries 202 yards. 3 tds.

Bleskin 24-38, 258 yards.

27 straight wins for CHS. Still have West, Glacier, Senior, and Sentinel left. Three trips to Billings this year for Capital.

I made the drive from GF and was glad I did. That was the most electric high school football game I've ever been too. Obviously I am bummed that CMR didn't come out as a victor, especially being a grad myself. Nonetheless, it was an awesome game to watch. Bleskin is great. Miller for Capital is legit.

CMR will beat these guys in the playoffs, this game wasnt played as well as CMR could play.

Good but not great.

I'm sure if they meet in the playoffs Jack will play dress-up again as the Carhart Cowboy on the horse and give his Patton speech...

Do you think some of that might be because of the Bruins...or do the Rustlers just play against themselves?

Keep dreamin' about a rematch though, it would be nice for the Bruins to 4-peat against against CMR!

True there always is the other side playing defense but CMR made a few mistakes that had nothing to do with Capital.

(2 different plays with receivers open deep, blown coverage and Bleskin hit the underneath route, never looked at another receiver)

Bottom line is CMR is the only team in Montana that can play with Capital and if they play 10 times each wins 5.

I agree thse are two evenly matched teams. I don't see anyone else playing with them this year. I would expect a rematch for all the marbles in November.

I would assume that Miller is going big time football but Capital has a linebacker #11 that is a stud and would be a great get for the Cats. I can't remember his name off the top of my head but he was everywhere against Russell.

According to Max Preps that is Seth Walton 6'1-210 SR

Well, here we go for all the marbles. If it's anything like game one it should be great. Both are good teams with a lot of tallent and speed. The place will be packed to capacity. Hope the weather is decent and the kids all play hard and stay healthy. I predict CMR wins this one by 6.

Take away 3 big 2nd half plays from Miller and CMR rolls.

Not to take away anything from Miller, I think he's by far the best in the state (All Classes), but CMR wins this one. 24-17.

Don't you then have to take away the CMR KO return for TD and CHS fumble on own 7 that led to CMR TD?

Miller has a hamstring issue. He pulled it in the first playoff game and then took a hit to it vs. Skyview last week. A tender hamstring is an iffy proposition at best, so that could be a big plus for CMR, not to take anything away from the Bruins. On the other hand you often see the team that loses a good player put together an inspired performance.

Capital went to Butte in '87 without QB Jeff Tuss (broken arm?) and won with their backup Chris Peccia.
