Good stuff, GB. We are coming up with some pretty fine (and funny) satire on this thread. Nice work.

BAC,

Your request for Red Citizenship is hereby DENIED!

As for your concerns of illegal Red immigration? Don't worry, we don't want anything to do with Nuevo California as you are going to be assimilated into Mexico soon, anyway. Following your secession, the "Brown Hoarde" invasion will only intensify and your requests for assistance from New America will be denied by President Schwarzenegger; soon you can start questioning the policies & decisions of your NEW presidente, Vicente! Now that New America has stopped spending BILLIONS on welfare and overseas assistance, we have so much $$ that we are going to construct an impenetrable barrier between our 2 countries. This wall will ensure that none of you Blue defectors can enter our fine country illegally as it will be HEAVILY guarded by our returning troops.

Military recruitment will SOAR once our "If it's Blue, shoot it!" policy goes into effect following completion of the wall. We'll have an "assault weapon", so despised by you Nuevos, every 10 feet or so on the wall.

The good news is you won't have to worry about your new country going to war with Iraq, Iran, North Korea, or anyone else because your 5 tanks and 4 planes will be too busy occupying Nuevo Mexico (formerly Nuevo California). Besides, you probably couldn't move that stuff to Asia, anyway...

Do I have to decide now where I want to live? There are good arguments for both the Red and Blue States. I hope I can wait until the wall is constructed.

Of course, your short post made more sense on a real level than the rest of the thread combined.

And then there's that one crazy guy in Lavina who voted for Nader. Maybe there could just be a re-education camp for them as opposed to building walls for everybody -- it would just get too complicated.
