1000 posts.....and I haven't said a thing...

Post by Cat-theotherwhitemeat » Tue Jul 12, 2005 1:17 pm

1000 posts?!?! What's wrong with me? My job is partly to blame. Much of what I do (running programs, installing programs, running reports, etc.) entails a lot of waiting, therefore I post on the Nation and egriz (although not so much the latter).

But, 1000 posts?! I have a problem and it needs to be said....
Hi, I'm Cat-theotherwhitemeat, some people call me Meat, and I write entirely too much on message boards.
Whew! Glad that's out of the way. Now I can take the necessary steps to get better.

I just want to say thanks to all the posters on here. I'd mention names but I don't want to miss anyone and offend. You all know who you are. It has been fun getting to know those on the "dark" side. The rival truly is one of the best in the U.S. and the fans make it so.

I apologize to those of you not keen to my off-topic remarks where I think I'm a comedian. I'm not, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn express once. And yes, I used that joke one day after I stayed there....and I received some rolling eyes. Come up with your own material ya meathead.

So, I'm thinking a thousand posts is a good stopping point for me. At least until football season rolls around. I've got a lot of changes in my life around the bend.....getting married, moving, starting a new job (fingers crossed) so this would be a good time for me to concentrate on other things.

Before I forget, I thought of a slogan for you kmax.....

I hope everyone has a great rest of the summer and remember....let's be careful out there. :D

Isn't it wierd how perspective can change things? For example, I looked at the countdown today and saw 53 days remaining, and thought "Man, when is it ever going to be football season?" And then I read that Meat is leaving till football season and thought, "Wow, only 53 days till he comes back!"

Just kidding Meat, come back!!!!!

Meat is a lot like herpes you think that you have him treated and that he is gone, but then in about a month BAM! He is right back burning you in the place where you hate to be burned. Yep, Meat is a lot like herpes… :(

well, I like posting too, and enjoy reading everyones posts. But, like Meat, i'll be slacking off this board to get back to life. Brian started his job at Ft. Lewis today, so no more help fielding kids so i can surf for fun. In a Col. slot he wont be home much anymore, so i'll read when i get the chance.

May be still early mornings if kids are sleeping, but have to give full attention to them, not the computer.

Brian's still looking for other cats in olympia to watch football with on weekends if you know any out there.

PS Meat our little pic is what 'dozer' looks like.
