Memories of the Brawl

Post by GrizinWashington » Tue Nov 24, 2009 2:15 am

What are your most enduring memories of the 2009 Brawl?

My two would have to be:

1. TBF turning Harris into absolute roadkill on one carry during the classic 9 minute drive.

2. The Bobcat faithful, resembling a refugee camp on the move, trudging their way up the hill through the snow with 3:30 to play.

I'd like to hear yours.

Walking back to my car and hearing a thud behind me, turning around and seeing some griz fan get his griz colors all muddy because he can't walk on ice. I felt bad he hit his elbows on the ice, but the slip and fall was fun to watch.

Dan Moore #35 acting like an idiot the entire game. Steroids suck and karma sucks.

Retiring my moniker. It's time to ride off into the sunset. It's been a fun ride. Go Cats.

Bobby in all his arrogance going for it on 4th and goal and actually losing yards. I actually was surprised that Chase didn't get about 120 yards on the day but that goal line stand didn't surprise me at all. I doubt it surprised any Cats fans.

Waiting in line behind the UM marching band while every single one of them had to show a game ticket and ID before entering. That was embarassing, and a lot of people behind us didn't get to their seats in time for the flyover because of it.

A defensive end, we'll call him Kroy, chasing down the Bobcat stud receiver in the open field and bringing him down.

=D^

Cats playing, "for whom the bell tolls" on 3rd and 4th down as the Griz go 10 Minutes and 19 plays for a TD.

Yeah, that was just embarrassing! I mean I'm all for the cannon, but for a first down? REALLY?

Yeah, I was beginning to wonder about the quality of UM's education myself for a moment there, boys!

And CTOWM has an extremely low standard for happiness! =D^ That said, beer makes me very happy as well....

Who's the dumbass in shorts?????  #-o

I think you don't get it. Sleeping in until 6 won't get many people very far in life, especially if they want to play on Sunday.
