Bobcats get 5th commit

Post by mslacat » Tue Dec 01, 2009 1:38 pm

It is a really busy day for me but, so I don’t have time to do a fill post on this but I will follow this post up later today/tonight on my Blog. I have heard from a Brad Huse’s Bobcat Men’s program has picked up another commit for the 2010 season. His name is Jordan Sally a 6-7 200 pound power forward from Lutheran High School in California. According to maxpreps.com He averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks a game while shooting 62% from the field and 56% from the free throw line.

Salley is an athletic, tough inside player whom I am told was a prime target of a hand full of Big West and Mountain West programs. ESPN gives him a 79 rating.

Here is a little snippet from Maxpreps.com posted last year.
6′6″ Senior Forward. 1st Team All CIF Div. V, All San Gabriel Valley, Arrowhead League Defensive Player of the Year. Jordan is the lone senior on the team. Jordan is returning from an off season knee injury that will have him out until January. Jordan is one of the best forwards in California and is being heavily recruited by colleges) Creighton, San Jose St., Pepperdine, and Eastern Washington).

Sounds like a great signing. Saw a video with some highlights of him. I'm pretty impressed. Good job Huse and co. =D^

Quite a few people are surprised that Salley committed with Montana State.

Can't help but think with the last name of Salley, is he any relation to John Salley, of NBA Detroit Pistons fame?
