Kind of an interesting subject. I'm not sure if I've heard of the asteroid Apophis before and that there was this much speculation as to whether or not it will impact earth. I'm anxious to see what the NASA, the ESA, and CSA will say once Russia's plans are finalized.

I find this whole thing interesting - and all things space in general.
But it would be nice to have the Russians take on some of the cost of space given that the US has funded the majority of every significant space project. Hopefully they don't try breaking it into smaller pieces that could hit Earth and cause widespread damage. That would suck.
