Wolf Story and map in National Geographic

National Geographic had a decent story on status of the Wolves in the West
there is an intereactive Map showing locations of wolf packs

I wonder how accurate it really is?

i hear from many reasonable hunters there are a lot more wolves out there thany officials will acknowledge

I think the F&G is pretty clueless as to where and how many wolves there are.

There has been a wolf pack in the Little Belt mountains in the 80s and they just laugh and say its probably just coyotes. When we showed them pictures they said the pictures were not from that area. This was all before the reintroduction.

There are too many wolves but I know an area in MT that has a lot less of them lately.



The whole thing isnt about saving the wolves its about getting rid of hunters.
