Royal Shaft

Last night I went to the Mariner-KC Royal game and sat next to a gentleman and his grandson. The guy was a native of Missouri now living in Seattle. Both were decked out in shiney new royal blue ball caps with white "KC" across the front. They were there to help support the Royals who were in a 15 straight game losing slump. The game got away from Kansas City early and the guy turned to me and asked, "can you imagine how tough it is when your favorite team loses 16 in a row?"
"It must be hell", I responded.
