Bozeman Hawks!!!

Post by AlphaOAlum » Wed Nov 17, 2010 4:12 pm

I'm surprised no one else started a thread for them, so I took the initiative.

How about the Hawks hosting the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in Bozeman on Friday night!!! Will it be on TV, or do I need to buy a ticket to freeze my arse off standing on the sidelines? Or have we figured out yet if they're moving it to MSU's stadium?

TV ha ha. Reier doesn't even stream the games online. I'll have to listen to the Helena feed.

And yes GO Hawks.

I started a championship game thread (does that count? :) )

The game is at Bozeman High, 7:00. You will need to either listen to local radio or go to the game. So, throw on the warm clothes and head out for what is sure to be a very entertaining matchup.

Go Bengals and Coach Arnston...I'm for anyone when they play either Bozeman or Billings West. And if the Hawks and Bears happen to play each other, I still hope both will somehow lose. :D

Epic night for the state championship game! 16 degrees out with a "feels like" of 3 degrees due to the wind. Blowing snow, ice, cold, lights, the home team has NEVER won a state title, and the visiting team hasn't won one since ... 1958?... 1932?

Epic drama!

just got home from the game (hhs grad couldnt watch anymore)... its colder than a witches tit out there with the wind. Roderick is a man among boys on the field, plain and simple... bozeman came to play tonight and HHS just couldnt get anything going. Good season to both teams, but Boz deserves to win this one tonight, unless something really changes. 28-7 middle of the 3rd

Game was great (for Bozeman). Hawks took the momentum on their second offensive series and never relinquished it. The Hawk defense had to bend a few times, but aside from the 8 yd td drive that gave Helena High their score, they played terrific ball.

Roderick is dynamic. I really hope that he plays FBS or comes to MSU.

Congrats Hawks! It was a pleasure watching you play this year. Enjoy it! You earned this!!!

Also wanted to mention #43, Bloomstrom, from HHS is a player. He's hard nosed and a sure tackler. He's probably wishing he could get back a missed sure pick-six that happened fairly early in the third quarter.

Laid some lumber all night.

Congratulations to the Hawks.

We just couldn't stop Roderick....he's that good. The dagger was the long TD pass into the wind with 10 seconds left in the 1st half. Up until that point, HHS was still in it. Then, to start the 3rd quarter, and long drive by Bozeman really put the nail in the coffin.

Congratulations to the Bozeman Hawks...you deserve this. =D^ =D^ =D^

Now...let's GO CATS!!!!!!!

Careful to anyone driving to Missoula...the roads were not that great coming home last night.
