Now I have read some of the posts regarding Mr. Gatewood's status for the next three games. Heck, you'd think the world had just ended after reading that "woe is us" bovine scatology. No doubt Rick is a might fine player but we have others who can do the job as well. I know the Bobcats won't quit just because there is a issue with Rick Gatewood. Nor would Rick Gatewood want the Bobcats to quit.

Here's how I really see it folks. We can either approach life (and MSU athletics) as a victim crying about unfairness, bad luck, shoulda, woulda, coulda or as a gallant fighter that takes charge of all situations no matter how adverse. We must decide if we want to act or react; deal the cards or play against a stacked deck. If we don't/won't/can't decide which way to play in life then it will certainly play for you. If we choose the latter, don't cry about the results!

Now let's move forward and give OSU a heluva game...with or without Mr. Gatewood. We have a great team. Let's take charge and focus on reasons why we will win. GO CATS!!!

P.S. I believe the person responsible for the Gatewood situation has departed MSU several months ago. Ooops!! I better leave that for GOKATS. While I'm at it, GOKATS, give us an update on Coach Mac at Michigan State. Thanks.

Haven't talked to Cuz in awhile, and for some damn reason I can't figure out he's kinda hard to get ahold of right now, but I'll keep at it. Last I heard Mac, Karen & the kids are all fine. Most know that he followed John L. from Louisville to Mich. St., where he's Ass't. Head Coach and receivers coach. Doing damn well for himself and he'll be a head coach someday, where might depend on whether they have "Oly" in the area.
