Snownami '11

Post by chester Spartanpot » Tue Feb 01, 2011 1:37 pm

Greetings Chesters fellow BNers,

Knowing that most of you fine bobcats live in Unabomber-type shacks in the middle of nowheres Montana ( ), he feels the need to inform you of the impending doom that is about to come crashing down on Chester's neck of the woods. About 15"-18" of the White Death from the Sky is "forecasted" to fall upon Chesters humble abode within the next 12 hours. Grocery Stores, Gas Stations and Hardware Supply Stores have been bombarded by the weak and feeble as they "prepare" for the onslaught. If Chester is unable to survive such devastation / mass hysteria that is sure to ensue from this most unusual occurrence  ... he would like to let it be known that he has throughly enjoyed the past ~1.5 years he had spent lurking and posting and chatting with those that make up his 2nd favorite MSU.

Godspeed to all, hugs and kisses, hope to see you soon, in the name of MSU let us pray...

Chester

Between you and AG1, I don't know who's posts I get more of a kick out of!

May your snow shovel get you through these tough times up ahead!

Regards,

T.Irwin

I got a nice snowblower that isn't getting any use considering we are getting passed up on all these great storms this year. You are welcome to borrow it to help out in your time of need Chester. It's the least I can do for a fellow MSU guy.

* sorry delivery limited to Gallatin Valley, all other borrowers must arrange for own delivery

Chester is glad you get a kick out of his impending snowmageddon doom while you are sipping a tall cold frosty one while basking in the 70 degree southern californian sun. Jesus Christmas!!! :hot:

I was supposed to fly to Chicago this afternoon. My flight got delayed (possibly cancelled), so rather than spend the next few days in some midwestern airport (and not at my destination in Chicago), I just rescheduled for March.
Can't say I'm disappointed.

Too bad it's not football season. You could use it as a cheap way to do a whiteout game and hopefully kick the shi* out of Michigan.

Chester, I have to tell you... I'm a little jealous of your huge massive incredible snowfall. I'd take a snow day here in Bozeman, but we've only received about 3 inches of snow since Christmas...

Also, proper shoveling techniques and winter driving tips are being explained... and chesters all-time favorite: be sure to bring your pets inside and check on the elderly  . Thanks anchordude and anchordudette, we'd be lost without you.

We had -20 the week before last, our news peeps had to give tips since we only see those temps a few times a year  Their #1 tip? Keep your garage doors closed.

did they remind you not to have any exposed skin while outside? apparently, occurrences of frostbite increase as the temps decrease and the winds increase  . well, at least the cars were safe

Gosh!! No, is that for reals?!!

The amazing thing is, you still see people out running occasionally in this weather! We're going to -20 again tonight, but as it's the second time we're not getting any warnings about it :P
