Shouldn't all the griz fans be throwing a pitty party for big mouth reynolds? Mike person beat him two more times today. Mike got drafted, Chase didn't. Person won the little Sullivan award, Chase didn't. Better call the wambulance.

It was during a couple interviews with KPAX and just typical crap that would normally come from Hauck.

Undersized, Over Rated, and Slow. Just what the Seahawks need. I'm sure you will see him being an impact player like lex...Cu-Ag-Au wrote:SIGNED by the Seahawks, 8-2-11.LongTimeCatFan wrote:Shouldn't all the griz fans be throwing a pitty party for big mouth reynolds? Based on you post about drug tests(a very informative post, good job!), I take it you were a Cat sometime in the past. If so, well done. With your insight into the game , you must have been in the NFL previously, or is it currently? If you aren't currently under contract, you should send the Seahawks, or Dolphins, a video. I'm sure they could use a man who is not undersized, slow, and overrated. Its worth a shot.
Good luck!

Re: Pooor Chase
I wish him luck in making the Seahawks, but posts like this drive me NUTS. He is undersized for an NFL Runningback, and he is slower than MOST NFL Runningbacks. But you come back with "If you think he is so bad, how come you are not in the NFL." In that case how can you come on here and Write a paragraph on sports if you are not a sports writer. How can you comment on the friz if you never played for them. How can you talk about politics if you have never been a politician.Cu-Ag-Au wrote:Based on you post about drug tests(a very informative post, good job!), I take it you were a Cat sometime in the past. You know that my statement was accurate but you have "hope." I was just stating the obvious, and statistically guys like him arent NFL caliber, I wish him the best of luck but I was just being honest (bluntly)Cu-Ag-Au wrote:Based on you post about drug tests(a very informative post, good job!), I take it you were a Cat sometime in the past. But you on the other hand, are pathetic.
Go sit on your couch some more and talk about how bad your coach is running your program into the ground and that "if I were Coach I'd...." Because we all know how people like you are, hasbeen (in high school lol) or a wannabe but knows everything about the game.

Huh. The ironic part is, I remember people on this board saying the exact same thing about a few other former Griz players, like Dan and Kroy and Marc. A few Pro Bowl later, that talk has died down some.I was just stating the obvious, and statistically guys like him arent NFL caliber, I wish him the best of luck but I was just being honest (bluntly)
My point is that you cannot measure someone's heart with a stop watch or a scale. I don't know whether Chase will ultimately make it or not (obviously people who get paid substantial sums of money to evaluate whether he can believes he at least has a shot). But those of you who deride him simply because he played for Montana -- and I'm just being honest (bluntly) -- are whacked in the head.

Re: Pooor Chase
Who on here said they want him to fail. I said and still do, that I wish him luck. It has nothing to do with where he went to school, and don't give me that tired old "can't measure heart with a stopwatch" this isn't RUDY.GrizinWashington wrote:Huh. Ummm, did I say that anyone wanted him to fail (although I would believe that roughly 90% of this board wishes he would).
And Sac, thanks for your post which said...well, nothing as far as I can tell.

Nobody is deriding his because he played for Montana, they are deriding him because he is undersized, slow and overrated. The body will only go so far regardless of what your heart is. I am glad he is getting a shot, but the odds are certainly not in his favor.GrizinWashington wrote:Huh. I don't like him because he spewed crap about MSU and Bozeman. I could care less that he.played for the griz. I watch to see how all former griz do in the NFL. But, when they run their mouth, well, then I don't care if they succeed or not. Although, I'm a huge Seahawks fan and want to see them do good, so, even though I can't stand the little prick, I'll cheer him on when he's on the field.

Re: Pooor Chase
O.K. let me say something in this one then. In my opinion Chase is not good enough to play in the NFL. He is to slow (they do measure speed with a stop watch), injury prone, and is not athletic enough. I hope he makes the team, but in MY opinion he won't. Even friz fans were saying they liked his back-up more than him at the end of last year.GrizinWashington wrote:Ummm, did I say that anyone wanted him to fail (although I would believe that roughly 90% of this board wishes he would).

Kroy is a given.. Buc buchannon winners typically have a great shotGrizinWashington wrote:Huh. Lex was a beast so another given.
Dan was a damn kicker lol... You can find hundreds like him on the soccer field... But he was talented so I'll give ya that one.
I'm not sold on marc "macaroni".. He is in the afc so that's why he is in the probowl. Call me an ass but i don't think he is as amazing as everyone says... He wouldn't even be on the reserves as an NFC returner.. Harvin would run circles around him same with Desean Jackson and half of the NFC returners. It was luck that his caliber was selected for the probowl...
But point being these Guys above all are prototype NFL size strength and speed.
Chase is no Danny woodhead even tho his so called heart is as big (since all of you know him personally and say that he is determined so I'll take your word for it)
Good luck to chase but he is probly another Lulay or Dickinson who can't quite cut it in the NFL.

Re: Pooor Chase
Do you think he has the durability to make it in the NFL. I mean after the 09 season he had something like 5 surgeries on different body parts and he missed a lot of the 10' season with at least 2 different major injuries. My thoughts are that the Big Sky just about broke him and if he had stayed another year he might have lost all his NFL interest. I am not doubting his athleticism at all, if he can stay healthy I believe he can make it in the NFL, I just don't think he will ever be able to stay healthy long enough to shore up a roster spot.ReturnoftheCats wrote:Taiwan jones on the otherhand...............

Re: Pooor Chase
Chase did nothing last night to impress. I know friz fans are saying he didn't get a chance to show his stuff because the coaches hate him, but the fact is he proved last night that he is not NFL quality.
