I especially liked the player's comments as Mansch asked each one about their impressions of MSU and um. Amey of Sac State was the best as he said MSU has been better the last few years. He knows Eddie Smith also and said he will be a good one. I also like Chournos of Weber who said the Bobcats are the most physical team. The coaches, as always , were careful not to say too much. Except Kramer who said people missed on Eastern Washington, who Mike picks as the best team on paper going into the season.

Yeah, I agree. Our skill positions/speed/homerun ability will be GREATLY improved this year. Our defense will be solid as Eddie Smith sounds like a true/fast cover corner which is they style our D likes to play. Our OL they can focus on big time as the week spot. Its nice to hear good comments from other coches/players regarding our team. I think it speaks volumes about how our defense plays by the comment from Chournos. We may have lost some key players on defense, but you know the work ethic is STILL IN PLACE behind the scenes and NEW stars are going to develop through it. I'm looking forward to watching these new players/pieces round into form this year. Should be a fun team to watch.HelenaCat wrote:I especially liked the player's comments as Mansch asked each one about their impressions of MSU and um. I think Kramer mentions EWU for a three solid reasons. 1) EWU does look good on paper with the exception of replacing the two great WR's from last year and the ? rush defense(should be better). 2) A dig on Hauck and company(deserved). 3) Setting up a possible playoff berth/BSC Championship game with the 11/13 game in Bozeman(I believe that will in fact be a huge game for both teams).
