Cal Poly Game - Billings viewing
I was just curious how many Bobcat fans in the Billings area (or who will be in Billings) would like to watch the game down at Hooligans sports bar on their huge projection screen. I was going to call down there tonight and see if I can get them to show that on their big screen in the back (HUGE projection type screen) and I'm just curious what kind of turnout we can get for that before I ask the Manager about this down there. We need to cheer our team on TOGETHER
This Cal Poly game is a BIG BIG game.

You can count me in with at least 2 other people. Cardiac you should ask them if they are going to do any game day specials… Maybe talk to some other bars and make them bid for our business! In Glasgow they would serve us free appetizers during halftime and gave us happy hour prices during the entire game. Sure wouldn’t hurt to ask!

I will try my best. Sounds like we could have at least 10-15 for sure right now so maybe 20-30 by this weekend. I will call him tonight and see what I can do.mquast53000 wrote:You can count me in with at least 2 other people. As far as the two major dish systems go; if you are looking for the most sports, movie, and HD channels then DirecTv is by far the best choice. Everything else is virtually the same between the two, all the way down to pricing.BobCatFan wrote:I was thinking about getting a dish so I could watch the games. What company is better or even carrying the Cat games, Dish or DirectTV?
Both offer a system that can get you local channels (to see locally broadcast games) and both also offer Altitude. I don't know if Dish offers CSTV or ESPNU but they also show IAA games and are on DirecTv.
I tend to favor DirecTv, but I've used both systems extensively, so it's not an uneducated bias.

I went down to Hooligans and got some information last night. They said they will for sure have the Bobcat game on the Big Screen and during all football games on Sat/Sun/Mon they run 50 cent Michelob Ultra drafts, 1.00 Cans of Bud Light/Coors Light and half price apetizers. He already runs those as specials so they won't give our group another discount he said. I will get on later this week around Thursday and get another head count as he wants me to call him on Thursday and just give him a rough guess on how many are coming. So we should be on for Saturday with the CATS game.
