I couldn't find it on the web version, but there was an article in the Bozeman Chronicle the other day by the new sports editor. It said that there is an entirely new sports staff, and promised to cover thoroughly the Bobcats as well as everything else in Bozeman. I haven't jumped on the critics bandwagon this summer, as it was clear that they were short handed recently. We'll see.
The new editor used to cover Boise State for the Statesman, and started out by apologizing for things he said about Bozeman back in the 80s, when he was a rookie reporter. I do remember that the 88 conference tournament in Bozeman, when BSU won the championship over the cats in a close game, coincided with some awful March winter weather. Sounds like we should be expecting more coverage soon.

Comical
Well, its about time. I had heard that a new editor was in the process. Practice starts this week or next. It will be interesting to see if the Comical will carry any news about fall practice as well as the meeting that is going on today in Salt Lake in regards to the BSC. I am optimistic but will wait to see the results in print. Go Cats!

According the Kwiatkowski article on msubobcats.com camp opens on the 17th, next Tuesday.
I saw the article today announcing the new sports staff, but apparently missed the earlier article by the new sports editor. I hope he follows through on what he said and gives us more coverage.
