Re: Cat /Griz Tickets
If I weren't such a nice person, I would think about finding some nice telemarketing lists to put this name under.
It isn't good etiquette on this board to come and ask for the hardest tickets of the year with your one and only post.
Now that I think of it that way, maybe I'm not that nice...

Re: Cat /Griz Tickets
usually this is around the time i start looking around for tickets as well. got a kick out of the prices on craigslist.
one guy is asking $500 EACH for to tickets about 40 rows up in the expansion.
these guys gotta be smarter than this. obviously this is a big time ticket for everyone. and people WILL pay upwards of a couple hundred each for tickets, although in my experience $150 is more realistic. but these guys gotta get smarter or they will be out a lot of money.
every year i have ever boughten tickets, there are ALWAYS some to be had the weekend of the game and even saturday morning. last year in missoula there were a lot of people who lost money because no one would buy tickets at their greedy prices....and they were still trying to sell them on the bridge before the game.
best of luck to all you buying and selling. but be smart.

At this point id expect to pay at least $150/ticket, however the closer to game time the better the deal. Especially if weather is crappy.
Lastt year in msla I paid $40/ticket and probably could have paid less had I waited til gameday. It was also colder than hell witb a number of road closures.

I think last year we paid $60, and face value was $55 if I remember right. I'll take a $5 hit. That's less than the convenience charge for tickets to most events when you buy online or over the phone.

ya, depending on the seats, i will spend as much as 150. but that is mainly just so i don't have to go through all the hassle that comes from waiting. but all these idiots trying to get 250-500 for a ticket are going to have to drop their prices a ton....or they'll miss out on the hundred or so bucks people are willing to pay.
this one is my favorite.... http://bozeman.craigslist.org/tix/2660671333.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
there is another pair going for $500 a piece....but at least the seats are really good and they include club access.

My tickets are 117 row 30. I had no idea I was sitting on such a gold mine. Haha

Re: Cat /Griz Tickets
so funny. in the end, this guy will likely get about $100 for them. $150 if he finds someone really desperate. i'm thinking when all is said and done, if i decide to pay as much as $200....i'll get good seats. although i'm pretty sure i have some through work...but better safe than sorry.wbtfg wrote:My tickets are 117 row 30. Yeah I'm in that section as well. If I got $500 for my seat, I probably wouldn't go. I'd take the $500 and walk around the tailgates before the game and buy one for $50. Probably a better seat too.wbtfg wrote:My tickets are 117 row 30. I had no idea I was sitting on such a gold mine. Haha

I bet he could get $150/tic without much of a problem...not much more than that though.

Re: Cat /Griz Tickets
It was so funny last year when people were selling tickets early on for mega bucks, and by the end of it, you could've got into the game for free. I passed a little old lady on the way in to the game saying, "Free tickets for grizzley fans. Free tickets for grizzley fans." Yeah I'm a grizzley fan, a fan of the grizzlies getting their butts kicked.
The best was the year we broke the streak. We were trying to, ahem, get into the game for free, and this native american walks up and asks if we need a ticket. I said yes, and he said that he bought a ticket for $10, so he would sell it to me for $20. Twist my arm. Glad I was inside for that game, and not at some bar. Priceless being there when that staduim emptied.

The "Walk Around the Tailgates with Cash" Plan always works for me. A lot of people forget how awful the weather always is and tickets become available.

The "Call the griz ticket office and buy four single game tickets 3 weeks before Cat/Griz" plan worked for me last year!!
