Most interesting storyline for the 2nd half: Will Bobby take the risk of going to Cole Berquist? If he does and CB doesn't produce, they're in trouble. If he does & CB plays effectively, BH looks somewhat foolish for leaning toward JW this long (and we all KNOW that Bobby LOATHES being blamed for anything).

Regardless, that half of football isn't going to calm any nerves in Grizland.

Answer: CB comes in; 1 incompletion, 1 fumble recovered by SDSU.

I'd be surprised if the QB controversy wasn't just settled.

It may be settled but it didn't settle on a very high level. That really is too bad

FYI, SDSU gave up 398 yards to Wisconsin LaCrosse in their 1st game.

They did hold Valpo to less than 150, but WLaCrosse moved at will; again just supporting how poor the Griz O is.

If they don't find some O in a hurry what will EWU do to them? The only way I see anyone in the BSC beating the Eagles is to outscore them and I don't think the friz can do that. The friz have a good D but they aren't going to keep EWU to 3 points.

Griz lead in time of possesion by over 10 minutes, yet only lead 7-0.

Yeah, I stated that earlier; no way is the Griz D stout enough to shut down EWU, AND MSU, AND ISU, AND CAL POLY.

Maybe 2 of those on a great day, but if their O doesn't get it's sh!t together, this may be the first significant sign of "slippage"...

SDSU must have a hell of a punter. How many times has he pinned the friz inside their own 20? Too bad they can't put any offense together.

SDSU has NOTHING on O.

Looks like Lex & Waller will ice this one but I'm far from impressed.

If Cat/Griz were next week, I'd say Cats 24, Griz 9.

This is it for SDSU; if they can't score here, their D is on empty.

Did I read that right? Did Baby just go for it at midfield on 4th and 4? He really is pressing to get something going on offense. If I am pitching a shutout and can pin them deep that is what I try to do. I hope to hell it backfires on him.

Yea, back to back first downs and still moving. How quiet would that marijuana pit be if SDSU could tie it up?

Imagine that another 3 and out for the boys. One more chance for SDSU but I am not holding out a lot of hope. What an offensive show these two have put on today. Very impressive.
