You finally were able to climb atop the BSC this season, granted the BSC is incredibly weak year after year and this year was even a down year. Kudos you still got it done and that is a HUGE hurdle for you guys to get over.

This is basically a playoff game and we all know what happens to you guys year after..........every 4 or 5 years when you make the playoffs. Last year it was big bad NDSU coming into your house and kicking you around and this year it will be us..........AGAIN.


This isnt smack, its just fact and you know it, so please....seriously...tell me why you guys think you have any chance of this being a close game? I just dont see you guys within a TD of us even if we turn the ball over a couple times.

AG1, I respect your commitment to your team. No smack at all intended I really do. You are a true fan who will stick with your team no matter what and that is admirable. But there is no way that you can honestly say that you believe the Cats will not win this game, none the less stating that you don't think we can stay within 7 point if the griz. Don't get me wrong, I know that this will be a very hard fought game for all 4 quarters. The griz have a good team that has really picked it up the past few weeks and are 5x better than the way they looked starting the season. But the simple fact of the matter is that the Cats are a better team. They have more weapons, have been more consistent all season, and are better coached. There is no way that you can deny any of that, period.

You talk about past Bobcat games and seasons, and you are correct. In the past years we have choked in big games and we haven't been able to capitalize when we needed to. But the past is the past. Now, you are going to reply to this statement somewhere along the lines of "the cats always talk about this being a new year but the same thing always happens." True, we have always thought and hoped that things would change the next year. Have they? Somewhat but never to the level that we hoped. Why do I believe that this year is any different? I have followed Bobcat football for 22 years now. You may say that's only 22 years you can't base an opinion on that. But look at the past 22 years of Bobcat football. I stood proud with the Cats for 14 years before we ended "the streak." I watched them go 0-11. I watched them go without conference championships, playoff births, rivalry wins, winning seasons, and hope. But look at this team now. First time being ranked #1 in history, having an undefeated season hold Utah, multiple players able to strike at any time, a leader at QB that any team in the nation would give anything just to have his leadership ability, a stadium expansion with more undoubtedly to come, and the presence of mind to know that they can play with and beat any team they face on any given Saturday.

I have watched this team go from absolute bottom climb and fight their way to the top. And now they are at the top. This team has the ability to beat anybody who happens to step on the field with them, and they know it. Talk about the past all you want Alpha, the time is now. And you and every other maroon blooded fan, whether or not willing to admit it, know it to be a fact. The Cats will win on Saturday, will do so in decadent fashion, and will only continue on through the playoffs. I know it, you know it, and everybody else knows it. Reply back to this in any way you want, but anything you say except for the fact that the Bobcats will win on Saturday is nothing but a lie and hidden knowledge of defeat.

I wasnt taking anything away from your season, it has been a good one for you guys.

But you are wrong in thinking that the Griz will not win this game. You guys havent had your bad game for the season, we have, your due. We havent played more than 2 qtrs of good football this year, we are due. I have never been around Griz players that want to kick ass more than the guys on our defense this year. I was talking to one of our DL men (who is a friend of the family) right after the Western Oregon game. I asked him if he was ready to kick some kitty ass and his reply was, its all Ive been thinking about for the past 5 hours. They want you guys and personally I dont think your ready for whats going to happen on Saturday.

You guys also dont match up well with us.

I wont go into a player by player analysis because you guys wont stay on topic and will just drop smack on anything I post but you are going to find out on Saturday.

I will say this, we have the better QB.......yeah laugh all you want now but JJ is going to shred your secondary all day and often. He is just as mobile, possibly more so, more accurate and definitely makes better decisions with the ball. Both QBs are playmakers ours is just better.

You played your best game of the season against EWU, our best game is going to happen on Saturday. The pressure and inexperience of being where you guys are will find you on Saturday and you are not going to like the outcome.

We will win the game in the trenches OL and especially our DL will be too much for what you got, you dont match up well there.


You guys have a solid team and you should be proud of the season you are having, its about damn time..........that isnt smack, I was just agreeing with you guys, you have waited long enough for it to happen and it has so enjoy it for the next 2-3 days because then its coming to an end.

Without his turnovers there isnt a doubt in my mind we win this game straight up. He is a fumble machine and I wont take any heat for him losing the game on his own. I have been predicting him to lose a game for us all year the way he did at Tennessee. His 1st play was game over. He ruined my trip with ANOTHER fumble.

If he does it in this game then I am disassociating myself from the game and all comments I made.

He's right. Everyone has forgotten how great the university of missoula is. Thankfully for LSU, they didn't schedule um this year. Since the griz played 2 good quarters of football now, every other team in the nation has realized they are only competing for second best. um will simply be named FBS, FCS, D-2, D-3, and NAIA champ this year. Watch out, after destroying a western Oregon, the griz are back!!!

Northern Colorado wasn't a bad game for us? Weber wasn't a bad game for us? I disagree with your statement that we are due. If you ask me, barely beating a bottom dweller in the conference and coughing up 4 turnovers in a half is about as bad a game as you can have. Yet we were able to put it together and win both of those games.

As for JJ being better than D Mac, I really don't know how to reply to that because I am a little shocked that you, a knowledgeable fan, even wrote that. I agree that he is a quality QB and will continue improving no doubt, but better than McGhee? Not a chance in hell. More mobility, maybe. Better arm, not quite. Leadership ability, couldn't hold McGhee's jock in that category.

I agree, no need to do a player-by-player analysis, let those things take care of themselves on the field.

We will run the ball on you, I don't care how pumped up or talented your D-Line is. Maybe not as well as we have in past games, but I can guarantee you that Kirk will go over 125 and Robinson will add a minimum of 50 more. With the way the weather is looking for the game, it could be a lot more.

And you simply can't talk about being pumped up or motivated for this game to be an advantage. The rivalry and intensity of this game doesn't compare to any other game either team will ever play. I talk to a buddy on the griz (also on the d-line, same guy maybe?) a couple times during the season and it always gets back to this game. I know he is pumped up for it, but no more than any other player that will take the field. Just how this game is.

Finally, "pressure and inexperience" are things that we have faced all year long. I know that the team felt the pressure of winning and winning big because of the NDSU game last year. That game left a bad taste with that team and that my friend added pressure to every single game this season. By this point in the season, all this team knows is that a #1 ranking is what they deserve and they will prove it.

I honestly will be shocked if you break 120 yards rushing against us in this game. If you do then Kudos and I tip may hat to you. I hope and pray that Breske sells out to stop the run and makes DM beat us in the air. If he doesnt or we cant stop the run then its going to be a long day. I think our DL is going to absolutely dominate this game and our front 7 will run around like a pack of steak starved pitbulls all day long.


Also I disagree with your "leadership comment" about JJ he is exactly like DM in that category. JJ has command of the offense better than any QB at UM since Bergquist and hes in his first season. The players know hes in charge and that its his team. They know he can and will lead this team to wins.

I am not knocking DM he is a good QB, I am just telling you I think JJ is better in every area with the exception of arm strength and even that is a close one. JJ makes better/quicker reads, he is definitely more accurate and hes just as calm and smooth as DM is. I know you guys wont agree with this, but hey, somebody has to be wrong.
